Hi everyone - and welcome to our new Supporters! Early Access on the DF Supporter Program is typically limited to the Premium and Retro tiers, where content that is finished but scheduled for the days to come can be watched early. For videos due to be published later on the same day, (Slightly) Early Access sees those videos sent to all backers. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers falls into the first column and we'll be publishing it over the weekend - but as we're welcoming a lot of new members today, we're opening up this one to everyone. Enjoy!

Here's the video description: Another UE5 soulsike you say? For all its borrowed ideas, Wuchang's world is a beautifully detailed - plus the game is generous with its modes and frame-rate options, and all Xbox and PS5 consoles receive the goods there. However Series S in particular loses out on some major visual features while targeting 60fps, and PS5 Pro's enhancements aren't entirely what you might expect.

I hope that we’re also going to see a PC look at this game. Because it’s done some quite controversial things when it comes to limiting the maximum internal resolution on certain graphics cards. Though maybe that’s been fixed since they implemented that.

It'll be interesting if they cover the PC version. I have a 4090 and can get a good, average FPS of 120. It can look really nice too. But it runs so poorly upon camera movement. I don't know exactly what it is, if it's framepacing issues, engine stutters, whatever. But it feels awful to play despite the average FPS.

This is what I'm waiting for honestly, if Alex has it in him to even do it. We all know how much he loves poorly optimized UE titles. :) But I've struggled to understand what's going on with the PC version...it's kind of a mess on the DLSS side. It's almost like DLSS straight up doesn't work as advertised on the tin.
