So much potential for Patreon tiers and merch, some people spend $100's if not $1000's every month on creator content. The tech and video game industry is surprisingly cheap when you compare it to every other entertainment industry... People don't seem to have any issue paying $400 for Taylor Swift tickets or £100 for nosebleeds at old Trafford... 1.5hrs, no pause, reply, when it's over that's it, yet people are complaining about video games costing $80 for essentially infinite playability, I would gladly pay what is fair for the things I love.. and wages need to increase so games will always cost more and more to make. Been gaming since ColecoVision, first PC was a Commodore 286, IBM compatible that cost my parents around $4500 CAD in circa 1989, owned a 16MB 3DFX voodoo graphics card, the N64 (Ultra 64 was a far better name) was the first console I bought at launch, now I primarily game on PlayStation. Been watching DF since early days, my favourite thing about the channel is the passion that everyone has for the project they are working on. Even if it's something I am personally not interested in, seeing the passion is why I keep coming back for more!!! Cheers to the future

I really should read my comments back before hitting send haha. So random and I forgot to provide another suggestion for a tier perk. You could do a tier where the extra extra perk is 15% off everything in the store, which would make the people who Subscribe to it, more likely to buy, and the extra amount they pay per month would more than make up for the discount. And for $10,000/month Alex will eat pizza with you every night Live from his undisclosed location, somewhere in the middle of the Swiss Alps

There's a thing going on, and and I just I laugh about it but.. I will walk away from a can of string beans if it's more than a dollar fifty and I'll be add adamantly mad that it is a $1.50.. And yet... Be about the same upset about the garbage level that is Burger King, who were so desperate they were basically giving food away 5 years ago... Now thinking they can charge 10 whole dollars for a burger... And I won't buy that burger.. But I still won't leave the drive-thru without 15 bucks out my pocket probably.. And I should have gone to the grocery store it would have been still noticeably cheaper.. But how dare they! What is this highway robbery! Good day sir!

Granted it doesn't help that I'm right next to a college and there's only one grocery store within a reasonable range for folk that don't have cars, so they absolutely can get away with being the most expensive bottom shelf grocery store of all time.. But I'm already there.. despite time and time again walking out of a Safeway with the whole foods meme, except it's not whole foods, or even good foods like trader Joe's lol it's Safeway foods.. shoot I think actually honestly I think the whole foods is actually cheaper than this store..

Given how I find a lot of games coverage these days hard to watch/listen it’s fantastic that DF are independent and can carry doing their thing. Even beyond gaming these days it’s hard to find stuff based on ‘facts’ and it is very refreshing to have something that relies on empirical evidence.

I have a rog ally a steam deck OLED and a switch 2. Give me the switch 2 8” 1080p screen every single time over the other two - better size than ally and better size and resolution than the SD. Fix the response time though. I wouldn’t even swap OLED for the size and the resolution. Whilst obviously some games will be 720p or sub 720p games that can render at higher resolutions I would prefer that they do. Even if you match performance on the ally and SD games look better on the ally simply because of the 1080p screen - stuff like HUDs it makes a huge difference for.
