Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on Switch 2 is far from "definitive". While a locked 60fps at 1080p resolution is fine, there appear to be no enhancements for docked mode over mobile, suggesting a lot of GPU power left on the table. Meanwhile, visual settings are cut back to the barebones - and even the original PlayStation 3 version of the game has features that are missing in the new port. In fact, Switch 2 seems to be a close match for Switch 1, albeit with increased resolution and double the frame-rate.

Yep, that's Aspyr alright.

Well, Alex! The Triple not so sucky as it would seem. 😀

Keaten

Oh, Aspyr…

Didnt Nintendo tell developers to just release a switch 1 port instead of giving out dev kits? Well here we go

Joseph Scott

The not-so-definitive edition.

I wonder if all the differences are due to a bug or will be delivered in a patch because it wasn’t ready.

AMH

It’s literally the switch 1 version on switch 2

Would have been interesting to see how it compares to the Steam Deck, similarly how you did for the Cyberpunk port
