I didn't really think the Death Stranding 2 rating was really surprising news. Sony and Kojima were both clear that it was a 6 month console exclusive just like DS1 was. The reason DS1 took 9 months was because of porting issues (being decima's first soiree with PC) and the pandemic

Hi Gents, as always loved the show and your interesting comments and insights! :) A little note to your comments about Nvidia on linux: The driver that Faith was talking about at XDC is different from the one Gamer's Nexus tested. Faith was talking about the fully Open Source NVK driver which is still in its infancy, while Gamer's Nexus tested with Nvidias proprietary linux driver. Phoronix recently compared the two drivers: https://www.phoronix.com/review/nvidia-nvk-linux-618-mesa-26 And the proprietary one is in general feature-complete as far as I know but at least in the past had some problems with integration with other linux desktop technologies. Their focus there seems to be compute via CUDA. And having a proprietary driver always complicates and setting up the system. With NVK bazzite for example would not need a special nvidia image variant, I think. But I would be really interested in some more long-term Nvidia proprietary driver for linux gaming experiences since that could impact my next purchase.
