And here we are with the last of our Early Access For All videos, with Oliver delivering his top five games of 2025. From the entire Digital Foundry team, have a great 2026!

This is the blurn for the video: it's Oliver's turn to revisit his personal favourite games of 2025 - and perhaps not surprisingly for a man with well over 400 games in his Switch 1 collection, it's Nintendo's brand-new console hybrid that completely dominates the selection. The Nintendo magic is strong in this line-up, augmented still further by the technical mastery of Shin'en Multimedia.

Seeing Fast Fusion being sold for 15$ is insane to me. For the first time I actually felt the devs made a mistake pricing a game too low. I genuinely think if they add online this is a 40$ title

Does Oliver play mostly on handheld or TV?

Having had some time over the Christmas break to put several hours into MP4:B I have really appreciated how good a game it actually is. It seemed good when I had played a few hours before Christmas but getting to play more it does feel it all comes together really well. The gameplay is very solid, the graphics are exceptional considering the hardware they are running on and mesh perfectly with the set style, the HDR implementation is great and the performance is rock solid. Yes it is very jarring that Samus never speaks in cutscenes when NPCs are talking to her, but outside of that the fears of them incessantly chattering away are really not an issue. I started off thinking it was a good game and now realise it is a great game, I can totally see why those with a more limited playtime were less enamored than Oliver and John who got to put in some serious playtime and got to review the game properly.

Saying something that all of these titles are Nintendo titles. Nice list Ollie.
