Coming this week on Digital Foundry (Week 13, 2021) (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a fine weekend as we go towards spring and hopefully happier, sunny times. We're quite busy here at DF with numerous projects behind the scenes including our much hyped Patreon revamp. But until then, here is what's in store for this week at Digital Foundry.

• DF Direct Weekly goes live today on the channel! This is perhaps our craziest video to date, and over 2 hours long!

• John's working on analysis of the Xbox Series patch for Crysis Remastered - the performance, RT and quality modes remain, but how's performance on the new Microsoft consoles?

• Having pivoted to Yakuza Like a Dragon last week, Tom is back on the SSD speed tests for PlayStation 5 - SATA, NVMe, internal SSD and external HDD lined up.

• Tom may yet have to pivot again depending on when CD Projekt RED unleashes its 1.2 patch for Cyberpunk 2077.

• Alex is working on analysis for the next generation upgrades for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2.

• Our CPU reviews for the Rocket Lake Core i9 11900K and i5 11600K should arrive on embargo - on the text side at least. Video reviews are likely to follow a little further on down the road. Will's been working flat out on this one - new games, new tests and potentially the closest battle yet between Intel and AMD.

• Assuming all the filming logistics can be worked out, John will be looking at Doom 3 VR on PlayStation VR!

• Community Game Night is on Wednesday at 6PM PST for our patrons. Join us in Unreal Tournament 2004, details in the #looking-for-game channel on our discord!

• Some Patreon exclusive videos are being prepped, including retro pickups with John & Audi.

• And finally, expect another Digital Foundry stream with John & Audi later in the week!
