Coming this week on Digital Foundry (Week 16, 2021) (Patreon)

Good news everyone! We are back for another week of digital delights and weekly updates. And with a new week comes a new content overview. We are working on a lot of exciting stuff at the moment, but for this week, here's what to expect:

• John's polishing up work on the Resident Evil Village demo - all modes tested on all three PlayStation platforms and we get to the bottom of Capcom's bizarre 45fps messaging.
• Alex is nearing the end of a very, very big project - we don't want to ruin the surprise on this one but it involves one of his most favourite games and one of his most favourite topics.
• Tech Focus will be returning! Alex talks a little about this in today's DF Direct Weekly, but the first topic up for discussion will be global illumination.
• It's not decided yet who's going to tackle it, but we'll need to address MLB The Show arriving on Xbox and PlayStation platforms this week.
• The next DF Developers project is nearing its conclusion!
• We are inching ever closer to our massive Patreon revamp - expect to learn more towards the end of the month!
