Hi everyone, it's Rich here with your scheduled update on Digital Foundry #content! First up, please send best wishes to our very own Will Judd currently recovering from acute appendicitis! He's returned home now to convalesce.

I've got a project to complete then will try to take a few days off.

So what's cooking this week?

* Rich (ie me) is just finishing up testing of the Western Digital SN750 SE 250GB SSD on PS5. The specs are awful by PCIe Gen 4.0 standards and thanks to supporter Fidler_2K we're convinced it's the worst drive you can buy for your PS5 - but just how bad is it? Find out soon. This one will likely be going up on early access to premium and retro supporters.

* John is working on Death Stranding Director's Cut for PlayStation 5, so expect to see that later in the week.

* Tom is back from an extended vacation. His background project on remote streaming will finally be happening this week, plus he'll be looking at the COD Vanguard beta.

* Alex will be looking at Kena: Bridge of Spirits and will hopefully find the time to run the rule over The Medium on PlayStation 5.

* Audi is currently at chez Linneman, and they'll be cooking up some DF Retro content, plus a Zool Redimensioned interview is incoming.

Plenty to look forward to then. Have a great week!

My brain processed "Linneman" as Rich at first, which made the upcoming DF retro collab with Audi... interesting! Get well soon, Will.

I’m very interested in the Zool video, especially if it compares it to some of its contemporaries. Might be a cool opportunity to contrast what the Amiga could do versus the Genesis (and vice versa)

as a life-long Amiga aficionado, I was pleased to see the Zool reboot/sequel, but the first video makes it look very much like a very slightly expanded version of the original, warts and all. I would have liked to have seen more of a Sonic Mania style spruce up and i think i would most certainly want to have reworked platformer physics, it and Superfrog actually, suffered from terrible jump and inertia physics
