John vs returns for a triumphant second outing - and as we're in the midst of Suicide Squad week, he's gone Batman-adjacent with his first experiences of Gotham Knights. Enjoy the general confusion that kicks in when a 12900K/RTX 4090 PC can't maintain 60fps with DLSS... and so much more in an hour of pure, unfiltered John.

Can't wait to watch this! 🤣

Game is boring but you made a interesting video out of it 👍

It feels weirdly cheap to just have NPCs run away into buildings. Like a lazy answer to AI interactions

CowboyLou

Very impressive. Now let's see Fallout 76

I genuinely enjoy the premise of this “series” haha. This is the perfect video to put on while I clean the kitchen. I imagine the capture is not all that dissimilar to what any member of DF is doing prior to grabbing “proper” capture. I also installed this thanks to Game(s) Pass, but I think I’ll pass…

Honestly the game seemed better than I thought, still not great but I had completely written it of.. it had some Spiderman vibes though obviously not as good

This was a fun watch John! I also find it interesting to see what the game is really like, as I'm sure many DF watchers would be somewhat less likely to play games like this due to the technical issues, among other things. To comment on some other aspects... I thought some of those combat animations looked pretty smooth and satisfying! Some real cool moves in there. The cloud and sky rendering looked pretty neat too. That traversal though... does not inspire. And the bike is so strangely slow! Would be interesting to see you try other characters to see any traversal differences and how the combat and animations change.
