Hey everyone! Please don't let my thumbnail expression fool you. Sure, there were some dece moments in this movie, but overall this one was a massive miss for me. I'm bummed by that, because of how much I enjoyed Vol. 1. If you love this half of the story, I love that for you and I understand why you do. It's just not for me. [Direct link here.]

My Kill Bill is the first movie, with 5 mins of the ending of Vol. 2 to play in my head during the credits of Vol. 1. 😅

I like the flow of 1 overall, but there’s specific scenes in 2 I like more than 1. Clearly not enough feet 😂

Absolutely no need to apologize for disliking a movie. I would say one of the biggest positives about your reactions is how honest you are. There is no way in hell that you can like every single movie you watch and being bored by and not caring for Kill Bill Vol. 2 is more than fair. I agree on the tone shift, I agree on it being boring, I also didn't care much for Bud or anything he did or didn't do. This movie has 3 good sequences (and I had to really think hard about finding a third one lol). I love the fight with Elle, I like the training with Pai Mei and the scene where she finds the will and strength to get out of the grave is filmed pretty neat. But man those 3 scenes are really it. For a two parter that is literally called Kill Bill, the second half of the story has way too much shit going on that is not about killing Bill, while the actual killing of Bill is super underwhelming and rushed. On my ranking this is the 2nd worst film by Tarantino. I never have the urge to watch this.

I think you're wrong. Because I really like this picture. In fact, I like Vol 2. more than Vol 1. But, I think you're wrong because your reaction to it is perfect. You didn't like it, but you didn't like it in such a fucking cool way that I refuse to believe that anyone could fault you for it. So, while I appreciate you can't do a YouTube cut, I think anyone that genuinely likes this movie will also seriously appreciate your "negative" reaction to it. Personally, I thought your reaction and analysis after was brilliant.

Hey, at least you got through it and you did find enjoyment in lines or moments. Thanks for completing the pair! An interesting pair of scenes to compare: Bride meeting Hanzo vs Esteban. In both, she drops in and chats some and then gets help with her quest. But in the first, Bride has to convince him of her need and we get to see the other side of Hanzo and the assistant, and they spend a month training/forging. In the second, we get the narration of how Bill was raised (told not shown) and Esteban just gives the location. That scene could have been cut!

Okay just finished your reaction and I gotta say there is NO indication that you didn’t like it whatsoever until your final thoughts. You did not give off a vibe that you hated it as much as you did. No way anyone would think that just off the reaction.

Aww thanks, I am probably too hard on myself. I think that because I want to give it a chance to change my opinion (because that has sometimes happened), I probably don't show it like I think I do haha. Then once the movie is over, I'm like okay it didn't change my mind, so here are my thoughts.
