Unfortunately, this is when the show starts to get boring for me. I really like that first part about Danny coming to New York, reclaiming his name, adapting to this new life, the legal drama... But I don't like The Hand. There's something about them that doesn't click with me. And that's the same reason why I think the second half of Daredevil S2 is the weakest part of that show. I know this is a bit stupid from me. After all, the show is named Iron Fist, not "Danny Rand the millionare kid". It's like watching the first 15 minutes of Dr Strange and wanting the rest of the movie to be about the medical drama xD Anyway, I hope rewatching this with you change my mind, or at least make me like it a little bit more. And I really hope you like it.

Just to ease your mind, yes, Claire did meet Jessica, after Jessica had to shoot the Kilgrave'd Luke. Claire helped Luke and watched him while he was unconscious. She met Malcolm also.

"Ugh, I REALLY wanted more medical stuff from Dr. Strange. (*sigh*)"🤣

Interesting that you clocked that Luke and Danny have the closest personalities 'cause they did have a comic together. It started as "Power Man and Iron Fist" but in more recent years it was called "Heroes for Hire," which was their business they started together to help people. I don't think it's a spoiler to tell you that they're best friends in the comics, but you tell me if something like that is off-limits.

Yeah, that's alright! Cool that they were in a comic together.

I -do- like there being a common enemy that runs through some of the shows, but I completely agree about The Hand. Even with the presence of super powered people, the Netflix shows always seem more grounded in reality until they show up to do evil with a cadre of lich ninjas...just knocks me right out of my mostly-realistic groove and I find myself rolling my eyes. With Doctor Strange, the clue is in the title...you know you're in for a little something weird...but with the Netflix shows, it was like "here, have some gritty, realistic, dark NY corruption with a protagonist that has some powers" and then part of the way through someone shoe-horned in some ninjas who don't always stay dead. Yes, I know they're from the comics, I get it...still a hard pill to swallow for me.
