Happy October 1st everybody! I'm so excited for this time of year... leaves falling, cooler weather, sweaters, hot drinks, apple and pumpkin candles, ahhh. πŸ₯° And for some of us: scary movies! 😏

I am dedicating four of my reaction slots this month to scary movies. Two of these are being given to IT: Chapter Two (2019) - because a two-year gap since reacting to Part One is definitely long enough and I continue to get requests for Part Two - and The Exorcist (1973) - an "always wanted to watch" movie for me and now is the time. The other two slots will be given to the top two movies with the most votes in the below poll. This poll is MULTIPLE CHOICE, so please select all of the movies that you'd want to see a reaction to this month. This poll will close end-of-day Sunday in MDT.

I have also decided to watch Agatha All Along this month, not just to continue with the MCU but because the vibe of the character fits with October. I will get to What If...? and Echo a bit later on.

Happy Voting! 🫒

PS. For folks in the Movie and TV tiers, you have today and tomorrow left to get your pick(s) in for Member of the Month - click here to do so!

PPS. I finally want to get more serious about watching scary movies regularly throughout the year, so to kick that off I'll be doing a double feature of the first two Evil Dead movies. I havne't figured out when in the schedule yet, but it won't be until December or January. Stay tuned. 😏

PPPS. This is a scheduled post. For those of you waiting for the Thunderbolts full-length fix, that will be done late in the day tomorrow (Oct 2).

Lets gooooooo. My favorite month of the year is here πŸŽƒ

Just rewatched the 80's fly movies. I honestly really like the sequel too, they're effective movies.

Christopher simeon

Will you be dressing up like a witch in the Agatha videos like you did before with wanda

Christopher simeon

I just checked the MCU order. I would say Agatha then Iron heart (it was originally supposed to come out way before and you will see why it makes sense ) or Fantastic Four then What if Season 2 and 3 together. Echo can be watched after Daredevil season 3 whenever you get there. Then you have Daredevil Born Again and you will basically be caught up. You also have two new animated series. Eyes of wakanda and Marvel Zombies but they are very short and can probably wait or be skipped if you don't feel like reacting to them. Tho zombies is cool.

Vincent Hollow

A group of friends and I watched Hereditary together and I shit you not, one particular scene made us scream so loud, our roommate came out of his game cave to see if anyone got murdered. I really really hope it gets in, especially considering how few slots there are.

Onno Smits

Welcome back home! I hope your trip was awesome? I'm not into scary movies, so I'll skip on these. But I'm looking forward to rewatching Agatha All Along, that's a fun one!

HugoBoss435

Have you already watched Scream? Damn that would’ve definitely topped the list for me

Tyler Foster

Sad that Event Horizon is not doing better simply because I feel like you would especially enjoy that one based on some other movies you've liked (although I won't say which ones).

Movies with KL

I haven't, but I didn't want to bloat the poll AND I didn't want to include more first movies of yet another series. πŸ˜… So I left it off.

Tyler Foster

It's good, too, because Scream does explicitly spoil Friday the 13th, which is on this poll. I think it is best to have watched A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and Halloween (arguably the "big 3" slashers) before Scream, and there are other little unimportant references to Psycho and Trading Places, among others. That said, I think Friday the 13th is the only one where they very directly reveal a major surprise.

Movies with KL

Thanks Tyler, I was told about that too a while back.

Chris Thom

Any of these would make for a good reaction. Friday the 13th is a pop culture icon though.

Chris Thom

Scream reactions are always pretty good. Personally saw Scream first as a kid, and went back and watched the movies referenced. Think it can be fun in either order. They compliment each other so well.

Chris Thom

They're very, very gross.

Vincent Hollow

Ooooo The Fly buzzin'! Let's get it! πŸͺ°πŸͺ°πŸͺ°

Chris Thom

Didn't realize The Fly was that popular. It's definitely...something.

SnabbKassa

if the fly wins, have a bucket on hand

Vincent Hollow

The Fly is fantastic. Easily in my top five for all movies, all time.

Vincent Hollow

Just saw your update on The Evil Dead and I am so excited. Those movies are so fun (and gnarly), you'll have a blast, especially with Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness (III). All three original films are from Sam Raimi, who did the original Spider-man trilogy with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. I hope you also eventually check out the Evil Dead reboot and Evil Dead Rise that came out a few years ago. Those movies are fantastic.

Bryan Dempsey

Not a fan of The Fly. Extreme body horror isn’t my thing. Not is watching someone else try to deal with it. That reaction will be a hard pass for me.
