Each time I watch this episode I wonder how the writer's managed to put it together - the way it jumps from past to future and back following Robin's train of thought, with us not seeing the consequences of what she says until in a different time period. Seems like it would have been difficult to plan out and write without getting lost. The flashbacks give us some indication of what happened, but not really enough to fully put the picture of exactly went down together - though there are some key hints within them that make more sense once you do have the whole picture. They really get to tug on our heartstrings with the reveal that May became Robin's mother, whilst we see her dying. I quite like how the actress portrays Robin through the episode - you really get the sense that she's still very childlike despite her age. I don't think there's much more I can say about this episode without confirming or denying some of your theories so I'll leave it there for now. What I will say is that this episode is one of my favourites from the first half of the season.

Great episode, and really loved your theorycrafting at the end! Timey wimey stuff is such fertile grounds for storytelling. Very little Kasius and Sinara this episode. Fun fact. The second slightly older robin in the flashback is the older sister of the actress that plays our Robin. In the flashback 2022 we see Fitz wearing his wedding ring 💍 so the flashbacks are after he and Simmons are married. Fitz mentioned Voss because they have already met him in the future in the flashback.

It's possible that you're trying to help me understand something that I *can't* fully understand because I don't have enough information from the show yet. Right now, the flashbacks to me are a: "Here's the agents who survived the Earth blowing up and what they're doing". So obviously the Fitz that mentioned Voss in the flashback is *not* the same Fitz we've been following since the diner who just met Voss in this episode. Voss is a last name, which is why I assumed that flashback Fitz is talking about a different Voss - perhaps 2091 Voss' parent or something. Now that you've confirmed it's the same Voss that Fitz is talking about in the flashback, that forces me to change what I think about them. I won't say more for fear of more confirmation or denial that I would rather just get from the show itself next week.

I apologize. That seemed like something you should have gotten from this episode. The Fitz in the flashback mentioned Voss by name because that Fitz already went through the events of this episode. They even drive the point home with Daisy saw the aftermath and still destroyed the world line. She only saw the aftermath in the future so that means that Fitz and the rest had to have come back from that future already for that statement to work.

The way I saw Robin's gift is that she saw things, but she didn't KNOW things. Because it was all out of order. Basically, how we saw this episode, jumping back and forth was how she lived her whole life. She would be "living" in all of those moments, out of order. It was very sad because she didn't see everything in order and therefore didn't understand things, her whole life. It wasn't until the last day when she seemed to understand it all in completion. The idea, and Fitz mentioned it here, that it's possible they've all done this before, multiple times because they're in a loop. He said they could've done this thousands of times. I thought, at the time, "This is the time the loop will be different, otherwise they wouldn't be showing us this one."😁 If they do change it, it would prove Fitz wrong though since he believe Time is fixed.

I wouldn't want Robin's Inhuman ability, that's for sure. I can't imagine the stress that would result from that. Not being able to fully understand what you're seeing.. brutal. I don't mind if Fitz is proved wrong. 😊
