When you said that you wanted FitzSimmons to talk to everyone about what they discovered, what do you think they should tell everyone about? I mean, is there something about them realizing they're in a loop that the rest need to know? Coulson, May and Daisy already know they're in a loop from talking to Robin. Is there a concept I'm missing/not thinking of? Fitz believes it's a loop because he believes time is fixed. Mathematically speaking.

Seeing the Zephyr flying through those tornadoes really highlights to me the epic movie feel of these last two episodes. Nice job noticing Kasius recognizing Yoyo. Many reactors are so distracted by the conflict that they don't realize that he recognizes her not from the present but from the past. It is the best clue as to who the seer is because it is only after this conversation that he mentions having a seer because he realizes he has Future Yoyo's body all along.

That's why, as I was talking about this, I said it probably wasn't necessary. I guess I just thought everyone's response to their initial statement was too mediocre for how big the discovery seemed to be, but that's a me issue I think.

Midseason finale time, as is traditional for AoS (with the exception of last season), and boy do we get a lot of new info - alongside the obligitory cliffhanger! The two most shocking reveals are obviously that what appears to be a future version of Elena is Kasius' 'seer', and that Coulson is apparently both dying and aware of that fact. Future-Elena is further evidence to Fitz's theory that the team is stuck in a time loop, given that she is providing 'foresight' to Kasius via her memories of what Current-Elena is about to do. Future-Elena also seems to be of the belief that the loop is fixed - she doesn't really give us much information about what is about to happen, notably a reason for why Coulson has to be allowed to die. With Coulson, we get a brief glimpse of a wound/infection on his chest, which he noticeably covers up - after seeing that, it's clear that he did the same thing when fighting alongside Daisy earlier in the episode. The presumption has to be that that is related to why he's dying, but whether it's the cause or a sympton is unclear at the moment. What else? Deke provides a fairly accurate read of Daisy - she's repeatedly shown that bull-headed stubbon streak at this point, but has also shown her selfless side multiple times. Kasius is finally dead - good for the people in this time period, but not all that concerning to the team now that they're returning to the past. One question from that has to be though when are they returning to? Is it the past relative to the diner, or what would have been their future had they not been sent to 2091? RIP Enoch, sentient Chronicom from a planet orbiting the star known as Cygnus.
