This is episode 98. Only two episodes away from 100.

Setting expectations of SOMETHING coming is still spoilers.

Some people didn't like Kasius as a villain but I personally like how they gave him an arc. He always had others fight and serve him but once they were all gone he finally stepped into the battle himself. Mack's arc has always been about avoiding violence and killing but he also had to be thrown into the battle field because even if you don't want to sometimes you are forced to do violent things to protect others. Like Fitz did to those Kree 😯

I'm pretty sure you know this, but S6 and S7 are what would be considered half seasons. Basically, ABC renewed it for 2 last seasons, but the showrunners decided to do half the number of eps for both seasons so they could have twice the budget per episode (or spend more on the finale). Before they were told it was renewed, they wrote this season to be a possible end, in case it wasn't renewed. We all thought this would probably be the last season because we hadn't heard it was picked up and ABC (and Marvel) were treating it like a redheaded step-child and since Marvel were cancelling their Marvel Television division, they weren't sharing info with the showrunners about what's to come in the MCU. They didn't even know how Infinity War/Endgame was going to turn out, so they had to just ignore the movies and do their own stories. About the timey-wimey things that people may have been explaining to you, a lot of people at the time were very confused by it, because it's hard for some to understand and/or they missed details that gave hints/told us how things were laid out. You like time travel stuff, so you probably think about this stuff a good amount more than the average person. A lot of people at the time were saying they hate time travel stories, because they confuse them, even when they're not super complicated. So, I can see Chris just trying to make sure you understood how things had been laid out so far. I'm so glad you're enjoying AoS as much as we did. I LOVE this show and it probably is my all-time favorite comfort show. I never get enough of watching people react to it. Even today, it's still my all-time favorite comic book show and that's not to drag any others. This is just SO well-written with great characters that are not perfect. They're all flawed and got issues, but their hearts are in the right place. I feel like they're an amazing example of a "found family."

The post issue has been fixed and now the title/description align with the actual video.

Oh don't worry about the Coulson thing. You are supposed to be surprised and not know anything.

Well I think that isn't really a spoiler. Everyone knows 100th episodes of a show are a big deal.

This is very much the 'build to our midseason finale' episode - everything is suggesting we're building towards a final showdown with Kasius. Continuing with our S1 throwbacks, we have Kree biology being used to bring humans back to life - i.e. Project TAHITI and how Coulson was brought back. It makes sense that Tess would believe that it's proof Kasius is a god - the Lighthouse has been living with that idea for decades at this point, that Kasius is why they have survived (which also has a kernel of truth to it to help support the idea), and equally it makes sense that our team would just accept it as science. As you said in your outro, we haven't seen Mack or Coulson in the flashbacks, which suggests the possibilty that they didn't make it to the Lighthouse for some reason. One small correction is that we haven't technically seen Daisy in the flashbacks themselves - we've seen her in a video before the world was broken apart, but not in the Lighthouse, so we can't be sure if Daisy makes it to the Lighthouse either. Other notes: Nice melancoly variation of Daisy's theme when she says she should just be an Agent of SHIELD; Yo-yo continues to demonstrate her look-before-you-leap tendencies; cool gravity fight; Enoch continues to be great comic relief
