The way this story builds is so good. This season has my favourite structure of storytelling so far. Really digging it.

Looking forward to chatting below! Remember to not post spoilers, or if you'd like to with other people, just use ROT13 translation like Onno and Chris were doing a few posts back. 😅 I'm excited to translate those once I'm done the season.

PS. I did go back and look at the drawing and yeah, duh. The marking on the chest. Don't mind me!

Fun fact: the end scene for this episode was a deleted scene from 1x22, hence the reappearance of Raina and Quinn (who's actor had retired from acting by this point)

THIS IS MY INSIDE VOICE 🤣 Oh, Talbot... So, it looks like the team is potentially beginning to fracture: Daisy is understandably unwilling to trust Fitz, and is pushing everyone rather hard whilst in charge, whilst Jemma and Yo-Yo are OK with breaking Fitz out and going off on their own - this probably won't end well. Daisy may be in charge, but she honestly doesn't seem truly ready to lead - she's super-focused just on getting Coulson back rather than on the larger threat, pulling Robin out of hiding is definitely risky, and as you mentioned she's being very urgent and pushy about it. Jemma's test to prove she can't be killed is quite the acting job, and also a little scary. If all she wanted was to trick Mack, she didn't actually need any of the beakers to contain the acid compound - they could all have been filled with water (note we don't see her prepare the beakers beforehand). The 1 in 4 chance of choosing all the water beakers (assuming my I'm remembering probability maths correctly - it's been ~25 years!) isn't strictly statistically significant, but it is suggestive - and Yo-Yo accidentally shooting the gun which then misses everyone can be interpreted as further support for the theory that the three of them can't be killed. Poor Robin - given she's clearly just seen her own death, it's no surprise that she's shut down and stopped drawing as a result. Her 'reuniting' with May is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Being able to find the mountain from Robin's drawing is definitely a bit of a stretch - identifying the outline makes sense, and it's *technically* conceivable to *eventually* find a real location from that outline (though without directional information it would take forever), but getting a 3D model from the drawing is pushing things somewhat. The implication with the flashes we see after Creel touches the Gravitonium is that Dr Franklin Hall and Iain Quinn are somehow still alive inside it. Does that mean that the Gravitonium itself is alive and has a mind of it's own? If so, why did it want Quinn? Or alternatively, maybe Dr Hall was somehow responsible for pulling Quinn in - perhaps for revenge? 🤷 PS Shame on you for forgetting Raina's name! You said you liked her back in 2x21! (just before she died!) 😜

Why did you choose to type an implication, followed by all of the speculative questions about the Gravitonium? You know this show far too well. If your intent is to help me understand the situation or expand my theories, I can appreciate the intent, but this directly impacts the genuine reaction that I will have about Gravitonium in the rest of the season. I already had this situation happen once this season, this is now twice. I will now be ignoring comments on AoS posts until I am done the season, as I am unable to binge-watch the rest of it. I'm sorry, I cannot risk reading more comments like this.

I apologise - I didn't intend to influence your reaction. When commenting, I do try to limit myself to what has happened or can be reasonable inferred/hypothesised from the episode itself - as I wrote the comment, it seemed reasonable that that could be implied by what we saw. However, re-reading now I realise that the way I phrased it is much more definitive than I originally intended - especially given that you are aware that I do know the show very well and have future knowledge - when what we see in the episode itself isn't definitive enough to suggest this. I also now realise I was unintentionally including some additional context from S1 which you have seen but have most likely forgotten - rechecking the 'previously on' it was (very) briefly shown in a 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' fashion (to the point where I didn't notice it until looking for it), so it's unsurprising that you didn't catch it. Even so I accept that the comment went too far.

I'm not sure that what Deke said to Fitz was something Fitz said in the Framework. He did say it to Daisy (and maybe Coulson) in the future about playing the long game otherwise you're a vacancy. I don't remember "The Doctor" ever said anything like that in the Framework. But, I do like that he respected Fitz for doing what needs to be done for the bigger picture.

I don't think that transportation machine needs two people 'cause I think Hale goes to talk to the Confederacy by herself. We've just seen it work with two people that need to be transported (Hale and Coulson, Coulson and Talbot).
