I think so too. After reading the books Rangi really demonstrated in so many ways why she is such a perfect, loving partner to Kyoshi. Kind of like “I’ll be anything you want me to be”. Despite her outward appearances, she’s really, really romantic. Haha, and yes, I look forward to more of your NSFW comics.

In the book, that scene is described as Rangi shyly mumbling in embarrassment as Kyoshi hugged her. But after I found out that Rangi already had feelings for Kyoshi at that point, I couldn't see it as simple embarrassment anymore. That was definitely a gay panic moment.

Exactly, that's precisely why I love her so much! 😭😭😭 Even though she acts like a soldier and is ingrained in the rigid culture of the Fire Nation, she's an absolute romantic when it comes to Kiyoshi. When she and HeiRan were at the North Pole, even though her lover never visited or rarely contacted her, Rangi didn't even complain. Instead, she was only angry that Kyoshi wasn't eating and sleeping properly🥹. Every single time she gets mad at Kyoshi, it's only when Kyoshi wasn't taking care of herself... Rang is truly a passionate romantic🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Oh absolutely. Looking back, it’s 100% gay panic. I love how learning about their feelings starts to explain their actions when you go back over it. One of my favorite scenes early is Kyoshi reciting Kuruk’s poem, and just immediately figuring when she’s saying it, it’s about Rangi. So great that Kuruk wrote it for Hei-ran though 😂 Avatars are down bad for their Fire Nation ladies

She loves her in a truly special way, it kind of makes me want to cry a little. There are so many times where it seems like Rangi is reading her mind, she’s so sensitive to what Kyoshi thinks and feels. Like she knows Kyoshi better than she does herself. She doesn’t need to be told, she will provide reassurance to Kyoshi like an emotional embrace to calm her insecurities. She has so much to give and she reserves it all for her woman. 🥲🥹
