PFAHAH!! 😂 This is absolutely spotless. First of all, your backgrounds are always gorgeous. They ground the characters in their environment so naturally and with such intention. I know they're "just leaves," but they're deliberate leaves, carefully placed and full of life. Your lighting—and the way you handle shadows—gets me every single time. It gives the whole scene that gentle warmth, like the kind of sunlight that's just soft enough to feel comforting. It reminds me of the reddening fireplace glow wrapping around Azula and Ty Lee in one of your previous pieces. Last, but certainly not least: the expressions. Kirima absolutely losing it had me laughing almost as hard as Lek's youthful look of utter disbelief. And Rangi... there's no way she doesn't know that the makeup worn by the very person whose fans she proudly carries on her robes isn't smooch-proof. She's been marked, and she's wearing it like a badge of honor. I absolutely adore your take on Kirima. She's so captivating, both in her personality and in her design.
