HOLY CR-COMPOSITION! I think my chin may be a bit sore from my jaw hitting the floor. This is the ultimate COOK’S SMOOCH!😚👌🏼💋 💋 💋 Nothing screams married or life partner like their combined flames creating a complete circle of fire. As if they are artists themselves, producing two of their own distinct arcs to complete one another. I can imagine the path of flame being drawn like the single brush stroke for ensō. The varying degrees of blurred effects of the rocks, floating amongst the embers, is such a neat visual touch. Signifying distance or movement. The bright highlights from the fire kissing the edge of their features from head to toe. So deliciousss.😩 Rangi’s expression—beads of sweat flying off her face—just as intense as the white flame she produces. All a reminder this pair is so dangerously destructive in their power, yet mind-bendingly beautiful. The little green ribbon tied to Rangi’s hairpin. A small detail, yet carries a significant meaning. Especially being attached to something that represents the honor of her nation, her people. I always knew Rangi was a green flag.😌 Chef, I think the standards of cooking should be Marceline stars instead of Michelin.

It lends her such an epic, triumphant presence without in any way diminishing the formidable, lethal force of her capabilities. You don't mess with this tigress !! ☠️ But that's not all— as always, lighting is one of your strongest suits, immersing the characters in such splendour that it's impossible to imagine them any other way. It defines their silhouettes and features with that spectacular hint of three-dimensionality, while also conveying a sense of ambient temperature that draws you right into the scene. The flames are practically sentient beings in their own right. The mere splashes and flecks of colour surrounding those great bursts of fire lend the element's sizzling, crackling nature an almost tangible quality, at least to me. I don't know what technique you used to render the flames, but I must admit I had the impression of looking at a paper sculpture, as though the vitality of those shapes had been constructed layer by layer. Not to mention the clever opportunity you've seized to showcase Rangi's magnificent white flames. They lend her a certain spiritual je ne sais quoi. 🟨✨⬜ And, of course, the Avatar and her trusted advisor / master / WIFE stand back to back against whatever misfortune comes their way, a silent promise of mutual protection and visceral trust. 💞😩💞 The folds, tension and gathered fabric in their clothing speak of a masterful understanding of form, just as your attention to detail and consistency extends even to the development of their relationship. The little green ribbon on Rangi's hairpin is a moving declaration of her intentions and priorities; her honour lies with her family, and her family is her person. 🥴🥹 The composition is immensely pleasing to the eye, with its varying degrees of blur and saturation. The sphere of flames almost symbolises the intensity of their love and how it is destined to be an everlasting force that will continue to encircling them wherever life may take them. And the dynamism of their poses strikes such a wonderful balance between their characteristic mannerisms and the essence of their respective bending. 💯🔥🪭 I adore that, whatever the circumstances, Rangi wears her scowl like armour and an ominous portent, while Kyoshi sets aside her gentle nature the moment her battle paint is complete, allowing a face to emerge that almost transforms her features entirely. Only Rangi recognises the soul beneath that battle-hardened expression. 🥹💞 That single golden strand of hair on Rangi's top-knot really does so much for the overall look of fire nation illustriousness, just like the dark bronze tones in her eyes you so rarely bring out with such firm vividness. It's magnetic. 🟨🟧🟫 What can I say ?
