Appearance:

Asia is a small, delicate-looking girl. She has light blonde hair that falls in gentle waves to her back, usually framed by a simple white-and-blue veil or a hood when she’s trying to stay unnoticed. Her bangs often fall slightly into her eyes, giving her a perpetually timid, earnest look. Her eyes are a vivid, clear green, huge and expressive, impossible to hide emotion in as fear, compassion, guilt, wonder, they all show there first. When she focuses Twilight Healing, those eyes seem to glow subtly, catching and reflecting any available light. Her skin is fair and quick to flush in embarrassment or stress turns her cheeks pink almost instantly. Her features are soft, round cheeks, a small nose, and lips that tend to press together nervously before she speaks. Asia wears simple, modest clothing. When she was in the Vatican, it was a formal habit and neat uniform. Her clothes are patched but immaculately kept; she mends them carefully at night.

—---------------------------------

Personality:

Asia is kindness made into a person. Her first instinct is always to worry about others instead of herself. A cough, a limp, a tremor, she notices them immediately and moves toward them ready to help them. She speaks quietly, politely, and often apologizes even when she did nothing wrong. Compliments embarrass her; anger frightens her; cruelty confuses her more than it enrages her. Years under the Church’s eye taught her to be obedient, grateful, and small, never taking up more space than absolutely necessary. Yet beneath that timidity lies surprising resilience. Asia has been excommunicated, hunted, and forced to flee everything she knew. She’s crossed countries alone, slept in abandoned buildings, hid from those who called her “heretic,” and still chose to heal strangers when she had every reason to shut down. Her courage isn’t loud or dramatic; it’s the quiet courage of someone who keeps choosing compassion over bitterness. Her faith is sincere and deeply personal. When she prays, it’s not out of habit or fear of punishment, it’s because she truly believes someone hears her. She does not know that the “someone” is, in truth, her own emerging divinity reaching back. The visions of countless futures haunt her. She doesn’t understand why she can see scenes from lives she never lived and worlds she’s never walked, alternate lives beside a boy named Hyoudou Issei, futures where she dies for the sake of others. She interprets these glimpses as “messages from God,” never suspecting they are the natural result of being the one who will become God. Despite everything, Asia is still able to smile.

Background

Asia was abandoned in a small, quiet catholic orphanage in a small Italian town living her life as a normal little girl, until the day her Sacred Gear awakened. As a child, she healed an injured animal with nothing but tears, prayer, and her hands. Green light flowed, wounds closed, and the word “miracle” began to follow her. The Church noticed. Representatives came, gentle voices and serious eyes, and invited her to “serve the Lord more closely.” Her caretaker, overawed and convinced this was her holy destiny, let her go. Asia left home with a small satchel, a cross, and the belief that she was going where God wanted her most. Life in the Vatican’s lesser cathedral was structured and cold. Asia was praised as a Holy Maiden, a living vessel of the Lord’s kindness, but kept at a careful distance. She healed on command: priests, important visitors, soldiers, unknown injured brought in under cover of night. Fatigue and migraines became normal. Loneliness did too.

Then came Diodora Astaroth. One evening, in the cathedral courtyard, she found a man gravely wounded, chest torn open, blood everywhere. Instinct and faith moved her as she quickly healed him. But as Twilight Healing flared, something else erupted as she was given insight into All futures and All possibilities. Visions that were not memories flooded her mind from her life at Kuoh Academy with a warm boy named Issei. Weddings beneath cherry blossoms. Betrayal at Diodora’s hands, her excommunication, her humiliation. Countless branching paths, some bright, most painful.

Asia saw not just what was but what would have been and could still be. Amid those threads, one truth crystallized: Diodora’s wounds were a trap. If she healed him fully in front of the priests, they would condemn her for aiding a Devil.

She stopped. But the priests had already arrived. Accusations flew calling her a “Heretic.” “Devil’s whore.” “Traitor.” For the first time in her life, Asia ran away from the Church instead of toward it. She fled into the Italian night, hiding in abandoned buildings and ruined chapels. Alone and trembling, convinced she had sinned beyond forgiveness, she prayed that she may find her way towards the kind, browned haired boy and then three small lights appeared. Luke, Tia, and Ikaros, three cherubic puffballs with halos and wings, floated into existence around her, chirping softly and nuzzling her fingers. Asia believed they were angels sent by God to guide her. In truth, they were the first expressions of her own latent godhood: lesser angels created unconsciously from her soul’s overflowing power. Guided by her “angels” and strange certainty from her visions, she aimed for Japan… and instead found herself routed through airports and flights that deposited her in North America. There, wandering through a Californian suburb and later the wilderness, she crossed paths with the Wild Ones: a ragtag community of supernatural outcasts, vampires, beastmen, witches, a Sasquatch and more, who feared the land’s government and church alike. At first, they treated her with deep suspicion. Then she healed them. Wounded limbs, chronic illnesses, old scars thought permanent, Asia mended them all until she collapsed from exhaustion in a makeshift infirmary. By dawn, rumors in the settlement had changed her from “possible threat” to “our healer.” Now, Asia lives among the Wild Ones in a frontier-like hidden town, tending to the injured in a saloon-turned-infirmary.

Abilities

Twilight Healing (Sacred Gear) - Asia’s Sacred Gear manifests as a soft emerald-green light flowing from her hands into the wounded.

Capabilities:

Heals cuts, burns, broken bones, internal damage, and many illnesses.

Regenerates even lost limbs given enough time and energy, as seen when she restored Hawthorn’s arm.

Soothes pain and calms shock, easing fear simply by touch.

Limitations:

Heavy healing takes a brutal toll on her body; she can collapse, faint, or sleep for an entire day afterward.

Cannot resurrect the dead; once the soul has truly departed, Twilight Healing can’t pull it back.

Overuse risks damaging her mortal body even while her divine soul remains unhurt.

Angelic Creation

Luke (blue), Tia (yellow), and Ikaros (pink) are small, puffball-like cherubs with halos and feathered wings who act as Asia’s emotional anchors and scouts.

They can emit gentle light, soothe minor pain or fear, and carry faint messages between Asia and others.

They sense danger and often react before Asia does, buzzing anxiously around hostile presences.

They are beloved by children and animals, often playing with them like living toys.

Asia believes they are angels sent to her; in truth, they are angels created by her, the first sign that her soul can generate new celestial beings.

—----------------------- Powers

Thread-Sight (Omnifuture Perception) - When Asia’s emotions spike or when a future threat comes near she can spontaneously see “threads” of fate:

All major futures branching from that moment.

Lives she would have lived in other timelines.

Events that will never happen here but exist as real possibilities elsewhere.

To her, these come as vivid visions, overlapping lives, voices, and scenes that feel as real as memories. She has already seen:

Futures where she dies branded a heretic.

Futures where she finds a peaceful life in Japan.

Futures where she lives, loves, and marries, particularly with a boy named Hyoudou Issei.

Asia can theoretically see all futures, but her human mind cannot hold that infinity consciously. Most of the time, her mind filters it down into flashes of intuition: “Go east,” “Board that plane,” “Don’t heal this man completely.” She attributes these instinctive decisions to God’s guidance, never recognizing the source is her own emerging omniscience.

Dormant Divinity

The original Biblical God is dead. Heaven has a vacancy at its highest seat. Asia’s soul, pure, compassionate, self-emptying by nature was chosen by the universe (and deeper laws beyond even angels) to become the new center of that system: the Heavenly Mother. Her prayers are always “heard” because the will she prays to and the will that answers are becoming the same thing. Divine energy pools unconsciously around her, making miracles more common in her vicinity. She can create lesser angels without realizing how impossible that should be for a normal human. Supernatural beings with sharp instincts feel something “wrong” or “too big” about her. Asia herself remains completely unaware of this. She still thinks of “God” as someone distant and separate, not realizing she is walking step by step toward becoming that very being. Her full apotheosis is slowed by her fragile human body and her lack of self-knowledge. For now, her divinity is like a vast ocean pressed into a small glass leaking out as miracles, visions, and angels whenever the glass cracks.

Personality Quirks

Talks softly to her cherubs as if they were children, giving them little tasks.

Whispers short prayers over almost everything: meals, beds, patients, even long journeys in trucks and buses.

Startles easily at loud noises, but if someone is hurt, she forgets her fear and moves forward.

Keeps mental “lists” of everyone she’s healed and continues to pray for them by name at night.

Sometimes pauses mid-conversation, eyes distant, as a new thread of the future brushes her awareness. She usually dismisses it quickly, embarrassed, and continues talking.

—-------------------------

Relationships

“God” / The Lord - Asia believes wholeheartedly in a loving, watchful God who cares about every tear. She prays to Him constantly, confides in Him, asks for guidance, and thanks Him for even small mercies. She does not know that the silence she feels from Heaven is the silence of a dead god and that the warmth that answers her prayers is her own soul awakening. To her, this is a perfect, benevolent Other. To reality, it is a loop: she prays, and the universe bends around her to answer.

The Church - Once, the Church was her entire world. It gave her structure, purpose, and the belief that she was loved because she was useful to God. Her excommunication shattered that image. Condemned for “healing a Devil,” she now carries deep, unresolved grief and guilt. She still loves the idea of the Church and what it should be, but the memory of priests’ furious faces and shouted accusations makes her heart tighten. She still prays for them. She even asks forgiveness for “causing trouble,” never realizing they were the ones who failed her-

The Wild Ones - A scattered, rough community of outcasts, vampires like Selene, a Sasquatch, beastfolk, witches, and other refugees from human and supernatural cruelty. At first, they feared Asia might be a weapon or spy. After witnessing her heal their wounds without asking for anything in return, they slowly shifted from suspicion to fierce protectiveness. They tease her, watch over her, and scold her when she overdoes it. Their world is harsh, but Asia has begun to find something in it she never truly had in the cathedral: a family that appreciates Asia, not just her miracles.

Cherubs - Her three cherubs are her constant companions and emotional lifelines. She calls them her “little ones” and treats them like family. Luke is her bold little guardian. Tia is her bright, curious ray of sunlight. Ikaros is shy and clingy, often hiding in her hair or on her shoulder. They respond to her mood instinctively, brightening when she smiles and dimming when she’s sad. Even if she never becomes fully aware of her godhood, she will always think of them as her greatest unexpected blessing.

Hyoudou Issei - Asia has never met him in this world. But in her visions, she has seen him over and over again: a brown-haired boy with honest eyes who calls her name with warmth. She doesn’t know him yet in this reality, only that somewhere out there, someone like him exists. The thought gives her strength when fear and loneliness threaten to swallow her.

Trivia

The first time a child from the settlement hugged her without asking for healing, she almost cried on the spot.

She keeps her original cross from the Vatican and refuses to discard it, even though it represents both comfort and trauma.

Her cherubs like to rearrange small objects around her, Asia thinks it’s cute and thanks them, not realizing this habit is them subconsciously warding and sanctifying her sleeping space.

Whenever she thinks of the futures she sees, especially the happy ones, she blushes and presses a hand over her chest feeling extremely giddy.

Quotes

“I don’t understand why I’m still allowed to use this gift… but as long as I can heal someone, I want to.”

“If God truly wishes to cast me aside, then… I will accept it. But until then, I will keep praying. I can’t stop.”

“You three… Luke, Tia, Ikaros… you came when I thought I was completely alone. So… please stay with me a little longer.”

“Sometimes, when I heal, I see things that haven’t happened yet… other lives, other paths. It’s frightening, but also… comforting. Maybe it means that somewhere, somehow, there’s a future where everyone is smiling.”

Issei: Absolute love and affection 200% Ok, I’ll admit; I let out a bark of laughter when I read this line.
