Background
The Historians are an ancient species of immortal beings born at the exact moment humanity first opened its eyes to the world. Where humanity was granted mortality, emotion, and growth, the Historians were granted a memory without decay and a life without end. From the first cave painting to the digital age, from forgotten tribes to global empires, they have silently documented every triumph, atrocity, discovery, and collapse in Earth history. They do not judge. They do not interfere. They simply watch and record. The Historians exist for one singular purpose: To ensure that nothing on Earth is ever truly lost. Every word spoken. Every war fought. Every invention created. Every life lived. All is archived and recorded. They follow a sacred doctrine: "Witness. Do Not Interfere." Even during Plagues, Genocides, World wars, or Extinction events.

Personalities
Historians are observant, calm, soft-spoken, intellectually curious and emotionally restrained. However, after thousands of years, many develop: Melancholy, Cynicism, Detached compassion and extreme arrogance of superiority. They do not hide it among themselves as they consider other species, even long-lived beings, inferior because: Mortals forget, Gods interfere. Demons corrupt and Humans distort their own narrative. Only the Historians, in their view, understand the value of pure preservation. Despite this arrogance, they are disciplined as they record even the deeds of species they deem lesser. Because to ignore history is to corrupt it.

The Hidden Realm – The Grand Archive
All recorded knowledge is stored in a secret hidden dimension known as the Grand Archive. It appears as an ancient, impossibly vast Asian library with endless wooden shelves carved from dark sandalwood full of scrolls, hanging lanterns that never extinguish, and stone floors polished to perfection.
Time does not pass normally here. A single hour outside may equal years within. Every Historian can open a gateway to the Archive by inscribing a sigil in the air.
The Archive contains the true version of every historical event ranging from erased civilizations, forgotten languages and alternate timelines that were undone. The deeper floors are restricted even among themselves.

Abilities
Absolute Memory: They possess flawless recollection. A Historian can recount events from 40,000 years ago with precise detail from weather patterns, spoken words, and facial expressions.
Instant teleportation: A capable of traversing space in an instant
Temporal Anchoring: They are resistant to timeline alterations. If history changes, they remember both versions.
Linguistic Mastery: They instinctively understand and speak every earthly language that has ever existed.
Perfect Invisibility: No species can ever detect or see them and if they do they rarely remember their faces clearly unless the Historian chooses otherwise.

While fundamentally the same species, Historians tend to develop specialties over millennia:
War Chroniclers – Follow conflict and military evolution.
Cultural Archivists – Focus on art, religion, and philosophy.
Technological Witnesses – Track invention and industrial progress.
Shadow Scribes – Record secret histories hidden from humanity.
