I'm just wondering. When you figured out about the groxlar being the 3 o'clock meeting, did you just figure it out, or did you suddenly remember from the last time you watched this episode?

Angel just said that sharing was not something Spike did. Well, he sure shared a big secret with Fred at the end of the episode.

Spike was okay dying again. It was the thought of where he was going. He had performed a heroic act, deserving of a happy outcome, and now something seemed be pulling him away and drawing him to where, as he said, heroes do not go.

I'll be getting a bit religious, but I don't know how else to explain this. I am raised on the belief that good deeds are not one's way to Heaven. Our sins are atoned for through Jesus's death on the cross. But even then, one needs to ask God for forgiveness and accept Jesus's sacrifice. Even with this being a television series, the belief was still that good was what got you to Heaven. That said, that's where Spike's destination should have been.
