The only other Billy I can think of offhand is evangelist Billy Graham.

Ron Fehr

I just remembered Billy Martin, a former professional baseball manager.

I like (most of) this episode. Billy is wonderfully hate-worthy and the actor does a great job. It's also a real, and ugly topic. When done well those can lead to very powerful stories. I think this one is done well. I love that in the end it's Lilah killing him. She is taking back her power - in this, she is a stand-in for all women. And the fact that she's already evil and saves Cordelia from having to do it is convenient. One thing I don't like, from a storytelling perspective, is Angel once again being immune to the bad guy's mojo. And like you, I don't like the premise that men are all misogynists deep down. But I explain it as the characters _thinking_ that's what Billy did: bring something to the surface that's already there. But in reality, it's Billy _imposing_ his misogyny onto the men. It's not said that way in the episode, but that is my interpretation.

Billy Palmer from BtVS season 1 E 10 "Nightmares".

One thing that I liked was Fred's concern for Wes, even after what he put her through. It shows what a caring person she is.

When Wes tried to open Fred's door while holding an ax, I almost expected him to chop at the door, saying "Here's Wesley." Speaking of that scene, when he refers to Eve, he speaks about her offering Adam an apple 🍎. In truth, the Bible does not refer to it as such, only that what she offered was a fruit.

The airport scene was being filmed shortly after 9/11, making it tricky to shoot, as flying restrictions had not yet been lifted. Luckily they were able to shoot the scene as long as the plane never actually took off.

Billy the Fish is a long-running cartoon strip in the British comic Viz that first appeared in 1983. Created by artist Chris Donald and writer Simon Thorp (who later took on both roles), Billy the Fish is, like many Viz strips, a lampoon of British comics – in Billy the Fish's case, that of football-themed strips such as Roy of the Rovers. The cartoon was adapted into an animated film by Channel 4 in 1990. Wikipedia

I was joking. I guess you didn't read the description buddy lmao

Your last comment kind of sums up what Fred said to Wes at the nd of the show. Something was forced on him to made him behave in that manner.

Billy Loomis, Scream 1996 (also very misogynistic)

Ron Fehr

I was just wondering when Billy realized that he had this capability, and also when and why he started enjoying it.

When Wes says "Speaking of saliva, where's Cordelia?", it was a disturbing call back to Graduation Day.
