In regards to not decorating the tree for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving isn't really so much of a decoration holiday. There are Thanksgiving decorations, but hardly anybody really goes with them, and I don't think Anyone really decorates their house to the degree they do Halloween and Christmas. Thanksgiving decor is pretty much just table settings.

Never realized that Buffy actually did have a bow there. That she never uses and has never used a bow. Crossbows often, but a bow that one brief scene that again she never actually uses it.

Awww this was great girls. So fun. I didn’t join along last night because I had work in the morning and it’s frowned upon to drink if you’re coming in the next day. Domi, I would definitely suggest not to watch Supernatural if you’re gay or a feminist - which I’m guessing you are if you love Buffy so much. I’m not saying that females can’t watch shows where the main characters in it are only male but there is quite a bit of sexism and misogyny in Supernatural. More so than there is in either Buffy or Angel. Don’t get me wrong… it’s a good show but it’s just… it doesn’t age well given the climate of representation in TV today. A lot of it is very geared towards the male gaze - which is great if you’re straight or even bisexual/pansexual because if you have a crush on either of the male characters - you don’t have to see them be all into love and romance with some other girl. But if you’re only into the ladies and your respect for the ladies is high… and you want them to have agency…. Yeah, avoid it. Not good. Then again - you have seen How I Met Your Mother and you were okay with that… so maybe I could be wrong.

For an episode called Hush, the two of you were not being quiet. Also, this season, I didn't find Riley annoying. Mind you, this season. I'm like you, Domi, prior to seeing Shan's ForRiley video, I never really looked at the relationship that way.

In some videos, you'll see Domi with her gay pride flag. Also, seasons ago, in the community chat (whatever it was called back then), Domi once admitted to me that she is gay.

I don't know if Camden Toy, the main Gentleman, was a mime, since he spoke in season 7 episode 3, when he played Gnarl. I could be wrong, as this may just be an exception in his case. I realize that this sounds spoilery, since you hadn't watched that episode at the time that you recorded this, but I know that you've watched it since then.

Speaking of the Magic Box, I wonder if that's the store that Willow went to in Lover's Walk, we she wanted ingredients for a delusting spell for her and Xander. Although it probably wouldn't have been called the Magic Box back then.

When you mentioned 'escalator,' it brought to mind the dvd commentary for this episode. I believe that's actually how the floating was accomplished, with the walking escalators erased of course.

I just had an idea. I've been watching the video where a bunch of the Buffy reactors do a read-through of the very first episode, Welcome to the Hellmouth. Perhaps when you're done season 7, Domi, you could try to get a bunch of reactors together for another read-through of another episode, your choice. (I suggest Family) (or maybe Once More With Feeling, just so we can hear everyone sing. Lol 😆)

The main reason not to watch is because it will be painfully obvious how much Supernatural rips off Buffy. It’s a show for girls who love them some PMs. And the fandom absolutely hates any female character who even speaks to their imaginary boyfriends unless they are gay and temporary.

Precisely my point why straight girls in particular have no issue with women having no respect or agency in the show. It’s not a show a true feminist would watch, let’s put it that way. I’ve seen a couple of episodes and I was not impressed. Plus then there’s the ending and what they did there was brutal for the queer community. It’s like having 100 Tara’s dying exactly the same way. So nope.

I think we call the holiday you were referring to as "King's Day" is Epiphany - seems to be the day after Twelfth Night, as in the twelfth day of Christmas in that song, and commemorates the arrival of the Magi (wise men).
