"What is Scanbo?" Just one of the most epic moments at a D&D table.

A thing to note on this show in general. While some shows are willing to kill off main characters by writers choice for a storyline, since this is based off of an actual table top roleplaying game that was played, it is possible for characters to die, not because the writers want it, but from a few bad dice rolls.

"Scanbo" is a combination of "Scanlan" and "Rambo" - both Scanlans player as well as the livestream chat from the original episode likened Scanlan going in all one-man-army to him being like Rambo, so they gave him the nickname "Scanbo". The CR fandom actually does stuff like this a lot, for example they also started referring to Percys vengeful side as "No-Mercy-Percy" xD
