⚠️ Update v2.8.35 – Improved Intimate Contact Accuracy

I’ve just released a small patch that significantly improves the accuracy of the intimate contact system.

I strongly recommend updating now to benefit from a smoother and more precise experience. While working on new scenes myself, I realized how frustrating and limiting the previous behavior could be, so I decided to release this improvement immediately instead of waiting for the next major update.

Upcoming updates will further refine and greatly expand the entire system. However, this fix felt important enough to deserve an early release.

E.V.E 2.8.32 Beta is officially ready for download.

This update introduces a major structural evolution of the project — alongside numerous improvements and fixes documented progressively through devlogs shared on Discord, YouTube and Reddit.

🔹 The ModPack System Is Live

The new ModPack system allows loading, exporting and distributing:

Scenes

Objects

Structured folders

Complete environment setups

A new AUTHOR section has been added inside the Settings menu.

If you are a content creator:Configure your Author profile once, and start exporting structured EVE Packs ready for distribution.

If you simply want to explore:Just download shared scenes, place them inside the EVEPACKS folder, and install them directly through the in-game menu button.

Simple. Clean. Expandable.

This marks the beginning of a scalable ecosystem.

🔹 Advanced Environment & Lighting Tools

For creators who want deeper control:

Configurable environment reflections

Skybox and global lighting adjustments

Fog controls

Editable lighting system

Three standard lights are pre-integrated by default — the optimal performance balance for VR.

Additional lights can now be instantiated as separate assets.

Important:Every extra light significantly impacts VR performance.That is why three default lights remain the base compromise between quality and stability.

Control is now in your hands.

🔹 Stability & Refinements

Numerous bugs have been resolved.Many systems have been refined and optimized.

Anyone coming from previous versions will immediately notice the improvements in flow and structure.

🔹 Sandbox Status

The sandbox mode is approaching a solid foundational state.

The goal is to officially move out of “almost there” very soon.

This version is a structural step forward toward that milestone.

As always, feedback is extremely valuable — especially if you encounter issues.

E.V.E is not just expanding in features.It is consolidating into a true interactive creation ecosystem.

📂 Installation Instructions

For Existing Users (Update):You have two options to update while keeping your scenes and settings:

Overwrite: (Recommended only after a backup) Extract the zip content and overwrite your existing game files.

Clean Install (Safer): Extract the new EVE Beta 2.8.32 folder to a location of your choice. Then, copy the "MyLibrary" folder from your old version and paste it into the root of this new folder.

For New Users:

Extract the EVE Beta 2.8.32 folder to your preferred location.
