This has been a fairly meh week. The worst of the sickness I mentioned last time passed quickly, but it's proved to have a long tail of feeling mildly sick. Not enough that I can't get anything done, but enough that it's all just a bit harder.

Anyway, before anything else, we have a piece of fanart! This was commissioned by Gaiachild and drawn by Cleopatrawolf!

Personally I think it's quite excellent. ^^

Aside from that, I've been poking a bit at marketing stuff. I'm thinking of making a second new trailer that emphasizes the characters and combat a bit.

Also, thanks to certain dark arts shared with me by Xephyros on the discord. I may actually be able to use versions of some of those MZ animations I was lamenting last week. XD That will be further into the future, but I'm looking forward to it. Aside from advertising stuff, I've made some tweaks to Lorena's combat kit and introduction to emphasize the different ways to play her better. I haven't uploaded the version with these yet, but I probably will sometime this coming week. They'll be available both on the Temporal Rift transition into this version and to the next version (or after combat, if an old save somehow misses both).

I've also added an ulti cut-in for Ariston's Deadly Cross. I also spruced up the map you first meet/fight Lorena on, and I'm considering giving Avalonia a bit of retouching just to be sure the game gives a strong first impression. Depending on if I feel like it/have time, I may also sit down and try to improve controller support before the public release. Not going to do a ton right now, but I do have a script that can add support for more buttons and may let me give controller binds for more buttons. This has been on my todo list for a while, but also isn't a super high priority.

If anyone else has thoughts on minor things I should do before the public release, I'm open to considering. Anyway, for now, back to working on stuff and hopefully fully recovering from the damn sickness. >.>;
