Weekly Update (6-9-2025) (Patreon)

Finally a week I'm generally happy with the progress I made on. Ironic since I hurt my foot kinda badly recently so walking has been a bit of a pain on top of other IRL issues. <.<; Thankfully that doesn't interfere with writing too much, though, frustration aside.

It's a little funny on some level how skewed my sense of wordcount has become. Despite 40k being a short novel, 30k feels like "a good start." XD Overall, as I think I've noted before, not 100% how much this update will cover. I'll have a better sense for sure once I'm through the parts I know I want to include for sure, though. Aside from the writing, I mostly finished coding up some new additions to the castle customization I've been looking forward to adding. No comment on what those are just yet, of course. =P

In other news, since I've been sharing Despoina's art in general updates, have a teaser. >.>; <.<; This is of her dress and overall outfit at the banquet back in Chapter 12.

Mimo went a little crazy with both this outfit and the other new one (I have to keep -some- secrets =P) that she sent me a sketch for recently, and I'm veeeeery pleased with the results. XD Very much looking forward to having both of these in full.

In other news, a few streamers tried the game recently (mostly thanks to the efforts of Dillosaurus/Dillo on the discord--my thanks!). They didn't go as well as I might have hoped, but I think this is kind of inevitable since a text-heavy game doesn't necessarily appeal to the sensibilities of everyone.
