The BabaDuck

Oh man, I love the Haunting Hour tv show. I better check out that....oh. But it does bug me that there is no way to access the complete series.

Karla Blinoff

I’m sitting right next to a Target on my break so of course I have to get those cookies now thank you for reigniting my Halloween excitement Jenny

Tom Bowling

I fully expected Ernest, Scared Stupid to make the cut. I like it. Oh well, maybe next Halloween. I'll just go sit with Linus and Sally in that sincere pumpkin patch.

Kyle Williams

Making a top 10 list with 15 items is the most Jenny thing I can think of!

The BabaDuck

Jenny, out of curiosity, when you engage in your Halloween tradition do you personally play through Escape from Horrorland via emulation or do you watch a longplay of it?

Andrew L Butula

Spooky things are great. The first time I visited Disney World I was about six or so, and at the end of the Haunted Mansion, when the Ghost Host offers you a place among the happy haunts I was 100% down for that.

Luis

Love the story at the end about Pump!

Steve Ray

IMDB says that episode was "Ghost-written by Polybius Kinginyellow." Has that guy written anything else?

superb lobster

Halloween isn't really a thing in my country, but I was exposed to it by American media. For some reason I specifically remember a Halloween episode of Roseanne, where the dad plays a prank on the kids by pretending to get his hand stuck in the garbage disposal and spraying fake blood everywhere.

Nick Steffensmeier

The audio is a little weird for me. A low humming droning noise. Otherwise the title of the video is great

Tom Bowling

Anyone else have fond memories of The Monster Squad? "Wolfman's got nards!"

Blue Corn

A part of me wishes they remade that rather than the Dark Universe.

Tom Bowling

Didn't they shelve that whole project?

Steve Ray

Now you know how he got the name "Wolfman Jack."

Devin M

My favorites were always The Last Halloween and The Halloween Tree :)

Tom Bowling

"Creature stole my twinkie!"

Blue Corn

"Cookies are a media too." Quote of the week.

T. Fazekas

Monster Squad was the best. Whenever I have something tough to do I always silently whisper. “I’m in the goddamn club, aren’t I”

Tom Bowling

It's the best, right? I always wanted friends like that, to go on adventures. "See 'ya later, Band-Aid Breath!"

Sarah Matthews

Anyone remember The Halloween Tree? Scared the snot out of me when I was little.

Tom Bowling

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix seems like it may be a show Jenny would like.

Tom Bowling

I take that back. I got through three episodes and decided to bag it. It's basically Riverdale set to a horror theme.

Maija V

Thank you, Jenny, for throwing all that glitter! I had completely forgotten the "Midnight Society" part of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and this brought it all back and gave me a nice burst of nostalgia!

The BabaDuck

I only read the first issue or two of the comic, and never could get into Riverdale, so I'm thinking this show probably isn't for me either. But I've gotta know, is it in the Riverdale Universe?

Tom Bowling

They mentioned Riverdale as a neighboring town. In the three episodes I watched, there was no character crossover. The show relies heavily on satanic lore and ritual. I can't imagine it on regular prime time television.

Steve Ray

Do they really throw glitter at each other?

Maija V

Almost - they throw "midnight dust" onto the campfire before every scary story... which I learned was actually non-dairy creamer when I googled it just now.

Steve Ray

Oh, cool! Yes, blowing a cloudful of non-dairy creamer is one of the safer ways to be a fire-breather, before you graduate to scented lamp oil, Coleman fuel, or gasoline.

Tom Bowling

I know. I was just kind of hoping for a miracle. "Don't you wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence? There's one marked 'brightness' but it doesn't work." - Gallagher

Steve Ray

Even in the comic books, it was a rare treat for Sabrina to make a guest appearance in any Riverdale story, and vice-versa, but they were definitely in a shared universe.

Emily Gelderloos

I swear there was a movie called thankskilling with a murder turkey as the villain and it honestly terrified me as a child

Paulie Paul

Do we think the thumbnail pic is supposed to make us think ERMAHGERD DURVURDURRS?
