Content

Hello all! As April draws to a close it's time to see which topic will win out for next month.

As usual, you may vote for as many topics here as you'd like; the topic with the most total votes will be the winner.

The winning topic from last month's poll was Universal Studios/Harry Potter World, whose video will be posted shortly!

(Happy Anniversary to the Animal Sidekicks topic, now celebrating 1 year on the polls)

They even got a shout-out recently in the Dumbo video with the "Being the Flounder" mention.

Flora

This might be the month of the sidekicks!

such a great/awful show. the fact that it lasted 4 seasons is a miracle. i'm the baby! gotta love me!

Blue Corn

Did Fox have an alternative Dinosaurs show I didn't know about? I know ABC had a Dinosaur show on TGIF during this time with Earl and Fran. But I dont remember anything on Fox.

anthony grey

it was ABC, there's a comment above from Gerald Jourdain noting the mistake made.

Jerry Nicholson

This might be the month for directors, fingers crossed

SimHns1

The first 45 minutes one is weird. Why the first 45 minutes and not the full movie?

Steve Ray

Animal Sidekicks can be found back as far as Sumer, when Gilgamesh lured Enkidu out of the forest to be his companion.

Sarah

I don't know if plush collection will ever win but I enjoy gleefully voting for it every time anyway

Eric MacMillan

Because it is a two and a half hour long movie and rambles are usually about 45 minutes. If it ever won I would do the other parts in future ramble polls but it doesn't seem like people are that interested. Does anyone have any other movies they think would be fun to have Jenny do a commentary track for? Maybe I can suggest a different movie next month, I just think it would be a lot of fun to be able to watch a movie along with Jenny.

SimHns1

Its a good idea, audio commentaries in general are great. And you should keep putting it foreword, i'm sure it will win eventually.

I tried this type of suggestion (commentary track) several months ago with the original Star Wars and Jenny wasn't having any of it, so congrats on just making it this far!

Steve Ray

By "audio commentary," do you mean the stream-of-consciousness/friend-on-the-couch style? Or more of a scripted-out (albeit with lots of gaps) Criterion-collection curated commentary?

Maybe to succeed we need Top 10 (and Bottom 5) Disney Animal Plushies

Erik Horn

I really really want the Dinosaurs. Is vote buying allowed?!?! I’m the baby!

Steve Ray

What is your opening bid for a DInosaurs vote?

Steve Ray

Our Hostess mentioned some Partreons had been worried about only getting 1/3 of their Ramble if a combined topic had won...but what would "1/3 of a Ramble" even be?

Devin M

I’m so excited about the HP ramble...

Steve Ray

IKR? I think it will be practically A1 in quality.

Daniel Staniforth

I voted for 7 topics out of 8, I'll let you guess which one

Dundough Breadbox

I have this strange ability to look at the votes and discern which topic might come in first.

Eric MacMillan

I know this ramble won’t be out for a while but I hope it includes an update about the live streaming that was talked about last year.
