This video is such a hot mess that even my editing program tried to reject rendering it, but as you can probably tell I was pretty amped about the topic so I hope you all enjoy it as well!

The online reservations for Star Wars Land open in a couple hours! Good luck to anyone else who is trying!

I enjoy hearing all the planned videos only to then not exist. Would have loved to see an alternate universe with all the canceled ideas being the ones that were produced.

Scrum Diddely Umptious

Foreshadowing for star wars hotel video at the end there haha what if you went and paid a lot of money and didnt get to participate, wouldnt that be awful!

Adam Herma

Watching the old videos and finding out Jenny was roommates with the Sun.

CPK Grownup

I haven’t been to any Disney or Universal parks yet but I look forward to hopefully visiting at least Disney World and the Universal park in Florida someday.

Daniel Stephan

I think us voters are taking note that the ramble usually passes the hour mark when we vote for a theme park topic

Dapper Gent

I've always wanted to go to Universal studios, I'm definitely going when Nintendo Land opens 😁

Shaun Cheah

Man, I really wanna know the backstory for this mysterious character (or characters?!) oft alluded to in rambles who is paying for Patreon access in order to steal ideas before Jenny can implement them. What a way to decide to lead your life.

Paul Gibbs

After every theme park video, I always feel like Jenny would be great to go to theme parks with.

Alex Dixon

Love this Jenny - thank you! Looking forward to going in August! Hoping I get a chance to go to Galaxy's Edge too!

M.T. House

Oh Dueling Dragons! I remember the old dueling ride and it was very, very cool and it used to be one of the only rides I was insistent on riding every time I went to the park. Each subsequent edit to the ride watered it down to now where I skip it, too, which is a real shame.

tree1138

I didn’t care about theme parks till I stared at the porg and heard how great they were for an hour

Luis

Ugh knew I should have called in sick to work now I have to wait to watch :(

Rick Clark

So, since you brought up the lighting, I have a question: is it possible to re-light your room so that you don’t look so washed out? I love watching your videos, but I always feel like something’s wrong with my display’s white balance. If I’m in the minority on this and/or that is part of your branding, then please disregard. Love love love the theme park rambles! This one was great and made me late for work (worth it!).

Court Schierloh

I love it XD Just as a tiny note- the Kuka arms on forbidden journey are actually on a track on the ground, not the ceiling, but it's almost impossible for you to tell that if you haven't seen them from outside the vehicle. Super good observations from a guest perspective though- I used to work at the one in FL and it's such a weird, complicated ride system.

Devin M

I went to the HP Warner Bros studio tour last year outside London and it was so cool to compare that to the theme park.

Evan!!

Detective Pikachu video!!!! But also the movie comes out in a week!!

EricWaffles

I really appreciate your editing style. You don't abuse jump cuts like EVERY. OTHER. YOUTUBER. in the world. Jesus Christ

Alex Clemens

The Forbidden Journey ride was so cool even despite one of the arachnids squirting me in the eye and me nearly losing my contact lense.

four or five owls

ooh i’d love to see an obscure disney trivia video!! i’m also interested in your endgame take. all the ideas sound gr8

Joanna M

Is the double roller coaster the same as the one in Bring it On 4? I have a feeling it was important to the plot of that movie somehow.

Eric

Endgame video! And Disney trivia

Liv

DETECTIVE PIKACHU

simrell

i used to work in WWoHP and it's fun to listen to you talk about the park. despite also being a huge fan, the magic of the park doesn't reach me in the same way. btw the potato leek soup is back ! (as of last month)

Jordan

Gonna need an endgame hot take!

Luis

Great ramble!! I really like the 10-day ticket idea and I hope the dinosaur ride video happens. lol thought my TV broke when the screen when dark at the end but I could still hear Jenny.

Ericson Just

Hope you got the reservation for Galaxies Edge. I almost bought a hotel too but got lucky. Looking forward to your video on it.

Alison

You're in the LA area, right? You should check out Rollin Deep Ice Cream in Costa Mesa! It's got an earl grey lavender flavor that you might like

Joe Bloe

I really want your patreon to get big enough that you can go on a proper theme park world tour to make videos on them. Or if you could get someone else to produce/fund it... but then you probably wouldn't be able to properly ramble about it. Which is weird because I have almost no personal interest in theme parks or going to them. But I always enjoy how much passion you have talking about them, it makes me feel like I like them too.

Jeanette!

My love for Dueling Dragons was for the queue! Even in the off season with no wait, riders had to wind their way through a stunningly themed castle/dungeon that had been attacked by frost/fire dragons. They tore it all down to make room for HP but I will forever be haunted by those freaky ass human centipede skeletons.

Monica McFadden

I went to Universal in California and my favorite part was the employee in the Megatron suit who comes out to periodically insult the crowd and recruit children to the Decepticon side. Also, I don't know if you've watched The Toys That Made Us series on Netflix, but their newest season will be up soon and one of them is centered around G1 My Little Pony. I can't waaaait!

Alexander Weir

jenny wouldn't be jenny if she wasn't critical. thank you for keeping it real.

Jenny Nicholson

I've read a whole blog post about how cool the old queue used to be! Because that is what theme park fanatics do in their free time apparently. But by the time of my first visit to Florida they'd already given it the HP overhaul

Jenny Nicholson

I'm looking at logistics to try to make this happen! Maybe in a year. Or, not a world tour obviously, but a couple park spotlights. Phantasialand and Efteling are top of my list

Jenny Nicholson

Yessssss, idk why they got rid of it to begin with, it can't be a complicated thing to have on-menu

Jenny Nicholson

I'm constantly battling my lighting/camera settings to try to find a balance, to mixed success. The good news is I'm looking at moving apartments right now and I'm going to play around with furniture arrangements when I do. I think one big difference will be if I'm able to put some distance between me and the light source

Alicia Martinez

Endgame for suuuuuure!! It’s such a like huge marvel moment so pleaseeee endgame ♥️♥️♥️

Sarah Batista-Pereira

Any idea when the redemption arc video might drop? Or should I just watch the horizon for pitchforks and torches.

JoeySnowyNoey

I remember the first time going to Harry Potter land and loving it so much, I always enjoyed Universal Orlando but as an add on to Disney, so at the time we would go to Disney and on an off day go to Universal but when Harry Potter Land opened it just changed the game completely. Also, the forbidden journey ride is amazing because of the giant dragon that breathes “fire” on you. It scared the crap out of me when I first went on! I didn’t expect the ride to have any animatronics so when a giant dragon pops out of nowhere it’s scary, but in a good way.

Stuart

Just starting, but that top is almost exactly the colour I wanted my walls painted and almost exactly the colour they weren't.

Shred Cadmium

1. Marvel 2. Numbered List 3. Video 4. Yay! 5. Plus-everything-else-sounds-cool-too PS You’re not wrong about the acting - e.g. I was so impressed with the start of Dumbo Slaps, where there’s this brittle excitement which quickly but gradually fades to disappointment, all the time of course with a comedy overlay. It’s only a few seconds but there’s such a lot going on in those few seconds, all perfectly judged, and I don’t think that’s an easy thing to pull off.

Ricm

googled it up and the Dueling Dragons thing was even worse than jenny described. The guest really did have only one good eye as Jenny said, and was left totally blind. The part that makes it even worse was that universal only closed dueling dragons for 24 hours after the accident, deemed it safe, and only permanently shut down the ride after a SECOND injury 10 days later. The second injury was thankfully less severe, but holy crap that irresponsibility. As jenny said there had been other minor injuries previously (which really should have ended things immediately), but after permanently blinding one of their guests you would think they would have shut it down right then, that should have been the final accident.

Dee Crosier

Again, I'm biased, but I still think it's insane that you aren't at the top of everyone's press-pass invite list for theme parks and cons and such... yes, you're (constructively) critical of the things you review, but that just makes the praise you do give more trustworthy and inspiring, imho. You need a hype-man/agent who can make these gatekeepers understand your awesomeness! I'd volunteer, but I have zero social skills and no contacts, so I’d be more of a hindrance than a help... Out of all the suggestions at the end, I'd most like to see a Disney trivia video, but they all sound fun really.

My family & I went back to WDW after a long, long absence, and, after mourning all the things we missed at Epcot (and trying to hide our downer-ness from kids), we went to Harry Potter world on our last day of the trip, despite thinking Universal was a terrible park from visits many years ago. We were pleasantly blown away. The two major rides at Hogwarts and Diagon were fantastic, and the semi-hidden Knockturn Alley was so well themed we kept going back to it. Anyway, I think it's a good thing, because Disney has perhaps slipped a bit, and the competition should wake them up. Not gonna bring Imagination and Horizons back, but, oh well. And a cast member told us they were about to shut down SSE for a 'rehab'. God help us all.

Rice G.

I'm so so so so so glad I became a patron lmao bc your theme part videos are my favorites, so this was a really fun ramble!! Personally I REALLY wanna hear your hot take on endgame, and maybe put off detective pikachu for a review video rather than a bingo video? a bingo video would probably be hilarious too, though, but I hope we get to hear your endgame hot takes at some point lmao

Avia Lewis

The REAL question is, did you do Poseidon's Fury at Orlando??

August Dunphy

Omg Poseidon's Fury is so much fun, I did it last time I went in 2013 and can't wait to go on it again this summer!

Finn Chitwood

i'd love a video on the history of dinosaur rides! i just love learning about chincy roadside americana, i think it'd be a blast

Scylus

I want nothing more than a detective pikachu bingo card.

Allie

A Marvel ranking would be sick!

Beck Dodd

I think you're the only person I can sit and watch talking unplanned for an hour. A lot of your videos are about things that I haven't seen/experienced, but I still find you incredibly entertaining. I'm so glad to hear you talk about Universal though because I actually did get to go a few years ago and it (especially Harry Potter World) was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and the way you talk about it took me right back there.

Avia Lewis

All hail Lord Darkenon! (FYI for anyone who hasn't done it—it's an interactive/walkthrough show with lots of 90's drama and cool practical effects. What a delight.)

Jenny Nicholson

Yes I saw it! Had no idea what to expect - ride, show, anything - so I really liked it! I think I heard months ago that it was in danger of removal though

Avia Lewis

Yay, glad you went! I haven't heard anything confirmed but if WWoHP expands, the Lost Continent area is probably done for.

Alive_in_tucson

Podcast: the ride guys really like the Spider-Man ride in Orlando. I’ve never been to Universal and the next time I’ll be in Orlando (September), I’ll be standing outside Galaxy’s Edge dying to get in!

Scott Weaver

I'm totally jealous of your Orange Bird sweatshirt!

Commander Cloud

What happened with the streaming idea? Jenny said she was thinking of streaming. Streaming what, I don't know. But it sounded interesting.

AIumni23

Most underrated ride at the park. I got singled out for unleasing an ancient evil when I went and I'd never felt so special in my life

i’m a new patron and going back through the old catalogue and this video was so great. i grew up in orlando and actually did have an annual pass as a teen and me and my friends went all the time. hearing jenny talk about all the little details of the park brought back so many memories. there is a high school across the street from the park and you can see the castle and the top of the jurassic park ride. you can hear screaming from one of the coasters and either harry potter music or jurassic park music depending if you’re standing on the football field or the bus loop. and yeah that was my high school lol i saw hogwarts every single day

'You can't if you want to sleep until noon' is my family motto.

Annie

idk man the ones with Shia LaBeouf in them are pretty good

Scott Weaver

If you do your dinosaur video, I sure hope 90% of it is dedicated to "Kingdom of the Dinosaurs" that used to be at Knott's Berry Farm. Growing up that was my favorite ride, it was sad when I heard they shut it down.

Rachel Tomlinson

I've probably been to 2 theme parks in my entire life, but I could watch you talk about them for hours! Your video on the missing Disney anamatronic was what made me decide to become a patreon and I loved your Pandora video even though I do not care for Avatar the movie at all. I guess what I'm saying is that I can't wait for your Galaxy Edge and Jurrasic World videos and I will keep supporting you to get you in them!

SweetAlissum

I'm also vegetarian and the food at the Wizarding World is the one strike against that experience I have. I see someone let you know the Potato Leak soup is back though, which is good news for me and my upcoming trip too! I was so sure it wouldn't be vegetarian friendly and when I found it it was, I decided I needed to protect it with my life. I love your theme park rambles, I'd be happy to listen to more from you, especially that Disney facts list. I honestly subbed to you once I watched your boring things to do at WDW list and it's basically all my personal favorite stuff. We have some theme park synergy and I gotta show respect.

Faith Tobin

It’s really cool to hear legit critiques/compliments about the way the rides are designed, the technologies they use, how they appeal to the public, that kind of thing. I know basically nothing about theme parks and hearing about stuff that might go into the technical/business/consumer psychology side is so so cool, I really like the kind of objective analysis that you add to your own opinions!

Eric Baker

Hey Jenny, what're your thoughts on the new Flex Pass Disney just rolled out? From what I have read, it doesn't sound too far off from the concept you were wishing for.

Ryan Coomes

Wow it’s even more fun listening to your theme park stuff when it’s one I’ve actually been to! I went to the Florida Universal and Harry Potter world in 2014, but like a month before Diagon Alley opened which sucked, though I still had an amazing time and was in awe at all the same stuff you described. I actually started talking in a British accent and I literally couldn’t stop the whole time we were there to my family’s annoyance. The one disappointing thing was that they had very little merch for the other houses compared to Gryffindor so I could only get a Ravenclaw hat and t-shirt. Then besides the thirty dollar plastic wand, my favorite thing I got was the little puppet plush of Norbert coming out of his egg. Would love to go back again and see the full Diagon Alley.

Kayla Catanzaro

lol im not sure if youll see this but for the wands have a little reflector at the end and thats how they work no battery required!

Nina Fernandez

Old video, but Flight of the Hippogriff was also part of the fantasy land before Wizarding World was built. I went on it as a kid with my dad, almost flew out of the ride, and my dad dislocated his shoulder trying to hold me in. RIP Dueling Dragons though. The coaster is really fun and the queue has great theming so I wish you had gotten to see it.

Raphael Caetano

I went to universal hollywood some years ago and forbiden journey made me very sick (and I usually dont get sick on rides). It was weird because it made me feel old, like I lost my sense of wonder, because a lot more time ago, i went to the florida park and we had a blast on that version of forbiden journey. We were lucky it was a week day and i went on it with my family about five times on a roll. Out the exit imidiately back on the line. I did eventually realize that it wasnt proof I had left the wonder of harry potter behind, maybe I was just having a bad day. But now Im glad to know there was a real reason to feel sick on it and that I dont have to be more causious when going on new rides lol

lina

PLEASEE DO AN AFTER VIDEO

Violet

I went to Harry Potter world in Florida in middle school like 10 times because I was absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter. I remember I went on the ride like a total of 120 times and I went so much one of the people working bought me a butter beer which was cool. I also had a crusty ass Gryffindor robe I bought for cosplay reasons before I made my own Harry Potter OC that was a hufflepuff and the women at the robe shop let me switch out the two robes for free even though the hufflepuff one was brand new. I want to go back but I’m scared about it being all dusty now and ruining the magic. Also the pumpkin fizz alone was worth the trip.
