Someday Horse girl energy will win

Nico Boggs

😭 No theme park ones this month!

Amanda Lawless Wasteland

I'm intrigued by the thought of a whole video on Lady Bird. Also, do you have a P.O box or some way for people to send you things?

Shaun Cheah

Today may be that day; it is leading by four votes as this reply is being composed. EDIT: Eight votes behind now. Don't count your foals before they're birthed, I guess. =(

Shaun Cheah

I would thank you to never disrespect Die Hard in this manner ever again.

Shaun Cheah

The Christmas topics will have their chance to shine next month, but I believe we can all agree that November is an equine month wherein our most pertinent Horse Girl questions will be both asked and answered.

Cassidy Sinclair

I will vote for Lady Bird, but only if Lady Bird is referring exclusively to the dog from King of the Hill

Darth_Credible_Halk

Yeah, quick question to the other patrons: has Jenny ever indicated that Lady Bird is a subject that would merit an exclusive ramble? And yes, I am aware that any Jenny ramble will be a good ramble, but I am trying to choose wisely.

T. Fazekas

This list is an embarrassment of riches. A Thanksgiving movie list would be interesting. Not with Thanksgiving as a theme but a list of movies a diverse group of family members might watch together. A fun thought experiment. Also Gremlins 2 is an Independence Day movie, Gremlins “the first” is the Christmas movie. Thoughts as a child should be thoughts OF a child and Jenny puts on a suit and grills toddlers about popular media and current events.

Dundough Breadbox

Feels weird to vote before twenty four hours have elapsed. Doubly so that the poll already has over twelve hundred tallied in as few as six hours.

Vespadesu

Ewoks! Ewoks! Ewoks! :D

cranderveldt

What can I personally do to ensure that Jenny gets hired by Hallmark to do a new line of seasonal videos?? I need this

Riley O'Neill

Die Hard WISHES it was Gremlins 2 😤😤😎

Jerry Nicholson

I don't think she's ever mentioned it. I think it would make a good ramble because Jenny has a very screen-writerly perspective on movies, and Lady Bird is written in a very unusual and unique way. Also it's the anti-dote to a lot of the tropes she's griped about in various videos, especially in terms of how it portrays women.

Jerry Nicholson

I wouldn't vote for Horse Girl Energy in another other month but honestly I hate Christmas. Let's at least keep it contained to a single month please.

Joel Keene

That's what I was thinking too, but I bet it's just going to end up being about the former first lady :(

Jerry Nicholson

Also, I gotta ask... Jenny didn't propose any of the ramble topics. Why ask this question specifically about this one?

Rayoe

So, if a previous topic (that hasn't won yet) isn't on here it either means it hasn't been suggested again or Jenny just doesn't want to do it, is what I'm gathering from other comments. I feel simultaneously bereft and also a little bit hopeful, because this could mean that the person who kept suggesting that Jenny write "Trapped in a Dark Ride with Jenny Nicholson" either 1) gave up or 2) got so tired of waiting that they decided to write it themselves. Maybe both?? Honestly disappointed if it's the former, but if it's the latter then I'll be on standby at Ao3.

Joel Keene

Dang it! ..............................................................................................................................I'm still in though

Stephen Notley

Looks like HGE is gonna take this in a walk, but yeah, whoever suggested Lady Bird, it'd be super interesting to hear Jenny's take on it. Oh well!

Darth_Credible_Halk

I guess I was thinking that topic was kinda random and wondering if Jenny had mentioned a special connection to or specific takes on Lady Bird. Like on twitter, twitch or YouTube and maybe I missed it. But your reply already sold it to me, well done!

Dean Hacker

I'd love to have some sense of what the Thanksgiving canon might even be.

David Whitney

Still waiting for the Adventures of Jimmy Scrambles.

Steve Ray

Never doubt the Coalition.

Steve Ray

The rules were changed to disallow meta-topics that modified other topics.

Ty Moran

Are we... Are we finally getting the Horse Girl video??

Olivia

All for any kind of commentary track! the Solo one was great, sometimes I just put it on in the background.

Rhetoric Al Leigh

Guys, please, I NEED this Hallmark video in my life.

Shaun Cheah

In celebration of the topic's recent surge in the polls, here's some insider knowledge for y'all: If "On Horse Girls and Horse Girl Energy" had failed this month, it would have been resubmitted for the December ramble voting as "All I Want for Christmas is Horse Girl Discourse" and in January as "On Horse Girls and Horse Girl Energy (Fluttershy + Manticore = Rey + Space Snake)".

Drake Chuckle

Ranking disney+ animal movies might be normal video worthy, but quite intensive (like land before time)

Steve Ray

It doesn't say ALL the Disney+ animal movies. Sources familiar with Our Hostess' thinking report she likes the topic.

Michael DeBellis

One topic I would really like to see is a discussion of Friendship is Witchcraft. I disagree with Jenny about how the episodes are cringe inducing. The first time I watched them I literally had no idea what MLP even was. The more I understood what her and Griffon (I think that is his name) had done the more impressed I was. I think those episodes are genius. And the little songs are amazing. Anyway, have a good and safe Thanksgiving everyone.

Steve Ray

Jenny is nearly an absolutist about never saying any term or phrase which anyone may find (or have found) hurtful or harmful, regardless of intent, context, culture, or usage. As such, I strongly doubt she'd want to discuss FiW any more than she already has in the Brony video, regardless of how much genius is in there.

Jommy Salami

I dont know what "thoughts as a child" means but I need it

Steve Ray

We're gonna find out.

Ted Comet

I just enjoy hearing you "ramble" your voice is very calming almost ASMR

Kathleen Laufenberg

As a former (and perhaps current, I plead the fifth) horse girl, please do the HGE! Do it for the Grand Champions!

Olivia

Next year, Ill be a $25 patron and suggest Jenny's Gift Guide for the Holidays

Tori

This is a safe place for Horse Girls.
