2026-10-07 18:00 Unrelated to any of these but since you are a big fan of Cars With Faces I was wondering if you were familiar with 90s British kids TV icon Brum: https://i.redd.it/4gnzyp48a9a41.jpg He was a tiny animatronic car who would sneak away from his owner and get up to hijinks and was very cute.

I want gay drinking game, but my Nancy Drew childhood is too powerful

Clara Margot

Absolutely the last place I thought I'd see a Brum reference but it makes perfect sense

SANDRA LEE HIVE PUT YOUR LIGHTERS UP

Clouds in the Sky

You know, I didn't have strong feelings about Lady Bird when I first watched it. But the movie appeared so many godman times in the ramble polls, I finally gave it another shot and I really like the movie now! So thank you, people who keep suggesting Lady Bird lol. Also, congrats on 10k patrons!

Chelsea Clark

ALCOHOL IS FLAMMABLE THAT SOUNDS LIKE A HAZARD

Rushka Unverricht

I'll just play it cool and nonchalant and pretend I didn't have to google "bias" as it pertains to kpop groups. Well done on the 10k patrons Jenny!

Jara Ket

I really want to hear Jenny’s Blackpink bias. Especially if it was a joke option and she doesn’t actually know them.

Mitchell Herring

Here for the Smart House takes and Cheetah Girls 2 Elitism

Ramona Mantegani

Another month, another quixotic vote for Ladybird.

Ink

man i'm just happy to be here

Vivian

people are SLEEPING on the sandra lee potential

john challenger

I wanna see jenny solve a mystery! go nancy drew!

Andrew Hill

Friends we must not allow this cowardly grab-bag option to thrive. Oh, jenny, You choose a topic... that's the purpose of the poll! These are the topics that wouldn't make a good main video! Do not abdicate our responsibility don't run from our obligation. Nancy drew needs us, ladybird needs us vote responsibly

Jerry Nicholson

The Case for Lady Bird, Explained Jenny is currently ranking animated Barbie movies. A live action Barbie movie is also currently in the works, in the script phase of development. I wouldn't be interested in a Barbie movie except that it's being directed and co-written by Greta Gerwig, the writer and director of Lady Bird, one of the most unique movies of all time. Though its premise is nothing new (high school teenager coming-of-age), the style of its writing and its editing is unlike any other movie that's ever been made. Even if you don't vote for the topic, I recommend you see it. With the tier list video and a hypothetical Lady Bird video, we could get a lot of insight into Jenny's thought process before the live action movie comes out. It would be like watching the movie with Jenny. Everyone else from the Lady Bird flock please share any other reasons why you think people should vote for Lady Bird. Tori, Nick Libasci: lookin at you.

Torie Berke

I feel like that grab bag option is similar to the "talk about a movie which isnt good for the main channel" one which she like. explicitly said she didnt like.

Void-Senpai

I would also love some older Disney Channel shows as well sometime. Specifically so I can listen to someone talk about So Weird because nobody but me remembers it

Paul Ganzevoort

One of these days we'll get a de Efteling video and it's going to be magical

hi mom

I just don’t understand why the Sandra Lee option isn’t winning by a landslide. It’s genuinely baffling.

Peachy Parfait

I’m so glad the Sandra Lee patron keeps fighting!! Those youtube videos were some of the most unintentionally hilarious things I’ve ever seen in my life and I have a Need to hear Jenny’s reactions ahhh 😭

Charlie

In my day they were called Zoog movies. We’d all gather around a 20-inch set, huddled for warmth, and watch The 13th Year.

Stephen Notley

To be honest, while I have quite a few friends who liked Lady Bird a lot, I... didn't. And I kind of get the feeling that this wouldn't have come up as a potential topic if people's impressions were that Jenny would just say "Lady Bird! Love it! I agree with everything everybody's saying about it!" So, following this chain of reasoning, I'm very curious to hear what Jenny DOES think of it... even if I'm wrong and she loves it unequivocally. Basically, if there's enough there to have caught Jenny's attention in one way or another, it's sure to be a fascinating take from her, whatever she says.

5mfc

One day Nancy drew is gonna win. I just know it. I feel it in my bones; in the air outside. Slowly we ebb closer and closer to the widening gyre of Nancy Drew shaking a door handle and saying “it’s locked!”

Miles B

one day, sofia the first will win

Zander Chin

Heck yeah! Get ready for some discount It’s a Small World!

Oathian

That Lady Bird person is dedicated af 🙌

Jerry Nicholson

I have a suspicion she won't like it. Jenny's taste seems to be escapism: sci-fi, magic, adventure, what have you. Lady Bird is entertaining in its way but it has no element of escapism, it's just real life.

Evan Magnusson

This is me, shilling for some Sandra Lee videos I've never seen but have been assured are hilarious. Let's get that one to win!

Shred Cadmium

That's a little bit of a blunt description of how Jenny approached things. It wasn't "I don't like this;" it was "I don't pick the topics ... they aren't always from within my psyche." https://youtu.be/lnzstg58xlA I think the point was that the prompt suggestion might not be particularly suggestive of any movie, or even any type of movie (because all movies might be suitable for the channel). But the bigger point is that Jenny as ever took that suggestion, interpreted it, and ran with it - I've seen enough prompts now to know that's likely to happen whatever wins: it'll be dealt with entertainingly and almost-always surprisingly even if we're imagining it's something Jenny might not favour. (That surprise is important in two main ways: firstly it's very entertaining to be surprised! 😲😁 and secondly it just underlines that as always in these YouTube situations, if we think we 'know' Jenny, we don't.) Anyway it's maybe worth bearing in mind that we vote on prompts for rambles ... they're just starting points, and Jenny always makes sure that wherever we set off from, we always end up somewhere good 🥳

Kinetics Video

Still holding out for TLJ premier, or the last time I thought there were other things that would purge this guilty land of it's crimes.

The Cat From Outer Space

Andrew Hill

I think the Knotts berry farm video if it becomes relevant would be magnificent all the gimme your impressions of a theme park work for me

Tony M Parker

Jenny covering Sandra Lee would be absolute perfection.

SweetAlissum

I'm going to keep voting for the theme park topics until another one breaks through! Efteling would a great Jenny video topic.

Jackie Clark

blackpink bias would be hilarious guys cmon

Colleen Neathery

I don’t think it will win by my heart is telling me I need to see the gayer drinking game

Stephen Gillie

Looks like Jenny's Choice is winning. I can't wait to see what she chooses.

Asmodeus

Maybe one day I will get an Efteling video

Katie

I’ll pay Jenny $100 to pick her Blackpink bias. I’m thinking probably Lisa?

Steve Ray

Was Stonewall all for nothing? We can make this game ourselves... Help Complete The Numbered List: 1) Strawberry daiquiris 2) Poppers 3) Tasteful shoes 4) Bechdel Test 5) ...?

Tori

Come on Lady Bird you've got this!

Anonymous

I chose Jenny’s choice and I can’t wait to see what she picks but I just want to point out the irony of paying for the ability to choose a topic and then abdicating that to let Jenny decide 🤣.

Porge

I never vote for the ‘Jenny picks a topic’ topics because I remember how much I hated being told to ‘write about whatever you want!’ in school rather than being given a topic to talk about haha. Obviously a lot of youtubers’ content is them writing about whatever they want, but there’s a big difference between having a bunch of potentially interesting ideas that you can work on over an extended period of time versus having a single choice with a deadline like with these rambles. Idk I’m sure it’s fine but to me picking a thing to ramble about is a big part of the work of doing the ramble and we’re literally passing our one job back to the person who assigned it to us lmao. edit: oh and also it seems a little mean to the people who've been submitting a topic they're really keen to see for months on end haha, but I guess that's not really a fair complaint

Steve Ray

That's what she gets for outlawing normal Ramble candidates like "Pick 2 of the 3 topics that got the fewest votes and combine them in Palpatine's Voice while making a costume (keep it obvious yet subtle)."

Steve Ray

If you're paying $100, I say *you* get to pick.

Porge

idk Shred, op's description may have been blunt but rewatching the video it seemed pretty clear that Jenny was being diplomatic in the quote you provided haha. In any case, I'm less concerned about whether or not a topic is something I imagine Jenny would like (as you say, we don't know her) and more about how annoying a 'talk about anything!' prompt is for me as a writer when I'm under time pressure. It gives the illusion of freedom and ease while actually substantially increasing the amount of work you have to do.

Steve Ray

If Our Hostess doesn't like the winning topic, she'll just drop down through the list until she finds one she does like, probably as a lesson for us to pick better topics, like ones involving animals. And remember that Jenny can always refuse to list any truly distasteful prompt, so if it's up there, She's Got This Together.

Hayley Penso

If Sofia doesn’t have a bigger backing, the Anthro cars shall make a comeback next month (;

Charlie Hills

Just cast my first-ever vote for Lady Bird.

Charlie Hills

And came to the decision to only vote for Lady Bird until it happens. ;)

Andrew Hill

🤜🤛 such a rite of passage, gratz

Andrew Hill

The wording on that prompt was so baffling lmao. What if Don bluthland. . ...???!

Porge

“Jenny always finds a way to make ramble videos effortlessly entertaining, which is why I’m submitting the topic ‘Jenny ranks my relatives in all her different FIW voices while wearing the plo koon mask’”

AppleSnaps

If “Jenny’s choice” wins, her choice should be the least popular topic from the ramble list.

Libby

It sure is Falling behind but I'm crossing my finger's Jenny Play's Nancy Drew wins I love me a point and click Nancy Drew Game

Or "Sleeping & Dreaming."

Trystan

Jenny's Choice should be an option every month.

AppleSnaps

The idea that you could technically respect the topic that most people wanted to see while delivering what the fewest people wanted to see and turning this into a cursed wish would be waaaaay too tempting for me.

Stephen Longcoy

I would also put $100 to this but with the caveat that I don't want any Blackpink slander

Alive_in_tucson

I would like to hear her take on the movie Shattered Glass with Hayden Christensen. If Jenny has seen it of course.

Jim LaVelle

A Jenny-shaped object under the covers of her bed with loud snoring and snorts for 8 hours.

Paula Starshine

I dont particularly like the Jenny's Choice prompts, but I hope she does a cliff notes version of one of the fabled Abandoned Videos

Izzi

I don't understand the prompt of "wouldn't make a good main channel video" because Jenny's channel doesn't really fall under any particular niche, so literally any topic could theoretically make a good main channel video.

Luc Gendrot

I think last time some variation of "thing Jenny wouldn't otherwise make a video about" won Jenny said she doesn't really have any topics of the sort.

Porge

Yep! It seems like people THINK they're being nice by giving her the choice, but I'm pretty sure it just creates extra work

AppleSnaps

1) That sounds fascinating, I need to know more. 2) Don’t dismiss the “cursed wish” aspect of this proposal because it’s the real driver here, and giving people what they asked for without giving them what they want is pretty key to that trope. And finally... 3) While I firmly believe Jenny could make any of these topics entertaining, this is genuinely a tongue-in-cheek proposal. You’re very much on point in suggesting that Jenny is, ultimately, the person in the pilot’s seat.

Justice for Sandra Lee

Tony M Parker

She's covered stuff from MLP to 50 Shades, idk what people think can't work.

Tony M Parker

Hope the video ends up being another Lifetime review but done in the exact style of The Nostalgia Critic.

@Gilgamech: Regarding Jenny's Choice: A very long time ago there was a king renowned throughout the land for his honesty and sense of justice. He also had a daughter who was by far the prettiest creature ever to walk on earth. When she came of age, the king realised that every man would wish to woo his daughter, but he loved her very much and decided to set up a trial that all must pass in order to speak with her. The King created a room with 6 doors (one of which was the entrance). Behind each of the 5 rooms would be a clue that would help suitors woo his daughter. However, behind one of the doors would be an unexpected Tiger, to ensure that only the courageous of heart would pass the challenge. So the first would-be suitor came to the castle, and took the Kings challenge. This man was not only handsome and a great warrior, but also a great philosopher. This man, who we shall call Bob, looked at the 5 numbered doors, which he must open in order, and pondered the challenge before him. He said to himself "If I open four empty rooms I'll know the tiger's in room 5. But the king promised an unexpected Tiger. So the Tiger can't be in room 5. Five is out, so the Tiger must in one of the other four rooms. What happens after I open three empty rooms? The Tiger will have to be in room 4. But then it won't be unexpected. So 4's out too." and so on went his reasoning, until he deduced that the Tiger was simple a deterrent those of weaker spirit and mind. So he strode to door 1 and opened it, and inside was a spool of pink silk. He then strode to door 2, opened it and was promptly eaten by the unexpected Tiger.

Sunflower Sunshine

Can we get a ramble about Hannibal, the series? Just me?

Steve Ray

If she's already watched it, then Hannibal would be a great Ramble topic.

Shred Cadmium

I did not expect this tale of a tiger 🐅

Virginia Doran

Are you gonna make fun of the Nancy Drew games? I haven’t voted for it bc they’re a huge part of my childhood and I love them and thus must protect them, but I realize they might be part of yours, too, so figured I’d ask.

Andrew Hill

Set your heart at ease one of the qualities I like most in our hosts criticism is even-handed enjoyment of the parts that work. I think she does a lot to make sure she treats the media on its own terms, I bet she would get a kick out of the games

Virginia Doran

You see, I know this, but my lizard brain blindly wants to protect my childhood obsession. In all seriousness, though, Jenny. If you do any sort of deep dive into the ND games, or have questions about their development or anything, I’ve been playing them since I was ten and I know an absurd amount about them. You should check out “arglefumph” on youtube, he’s a great guy who’s a pillar of the ND game community.
