It's not often that the top 4 topics are all within 100 votes of each other. It could be a close race! I think Scariest Theme Park Rides is my favourite this month, although I did vote for about 6 topics haha.

Yeah I don't really want an inside look at how my favourite creators are spending their private time. I'm sure the idea behind the 'scrolls' part of the prompt is just to make it more explicitly off-the-cuff and informal, but part of me always wonders if it's a parasocial attempt to learn more about Jenny as a person outside of what she chooses to put out into the world.

Oh no I'm sorry Anna! I did say in my post that I believed it was just an attempt to make it less prep-heavy. Also I don't appreciate the insult Steve haha. I didn't say my fear was a rational one, but we all know what being a Woman On The Internet is like and there've been examples in the past of patrons being weird about stuff, from the mild examples (people wanting a tour of her house) to the more extreme (the guy who got blocked after repeatedly submitting a topic about Jenny's previous relationships).

Being “fellow Jenny-Nicholson Patreons” doesn’t magically make us good people. I even cited a very real example of a patron being a creep! And passive-aggressively mischaracterising me is nastier than anything I said, no matter how twee your phrasing. My personal experiences with online harassment have made me extremely (and probably excessively) worried about online boundaries, but that doesn’t make me the bad guy.

Thanks George! yeah sorry Anna i wasn’t insinuating anyone is a creep for voting for this or suggesting it, obvi it wouldn’t be in the poll if Jenny was uncomfortable with it. I was just sharing a quick little thought, I also don’t go through friend’s or family’s recently watched. it wasn’t a judgment at all. but George is right though, this is a community of 14,000 strangers, i dont know any of you. Jenny doesnt know most of us. whatever our intentions can be we can still be invasive and weird. I’m not accusing anyone of being a secret monster, that would be quite mean and out of pocket, but there have been plenty of examples of that happening here, as was pointed out. I am really suspicious of a lot of people who interact with popular women on the internet bc as a woman with a mild internet presence people are really really really really weird to me about it! I apologize if I was being overly sensitive about internet harassment, i really wasn’t accusing anyone of anything I just added a thought to a post. it was a throwaway comment. I’ll delete it if people are gonna be intentionally rude to each other about it. Anna, sorry again you definitely didn’t do anything wrong! You’re not a creep, I wasn’t judging anybody for voting for this. If it wins great! It definitely sounds like an easy off the cuff ramble and should be fun. I heard a comment on a podcast claiming that the subtext of MLP:ANG was all about explaining to kids why the adults in their life are all mad at each other about Trump. I don't see it frankly, but I wonder if it could be touched on if that is the winning ramble topic?

Yeeeeeeah... The movie has ideas of "racism is bad" but it's far from specifically referring to Donny Trump. I thought it was a fun movie, but it's message wasn't really a new one as far as kids media is concerned.

August 2021 ramble “Jenny gives a tour of favourite things she'd expense if she could find a way to put them in a video” includes showing her furniture and the stuff she keeps on it. This wouldn’t be a look at her phone or Google search history, it would be commenting on content like Moon Knight. :)

Where are the mischaracterization? If anything, you're leaning into the role. And you're right, excessive worrying doesn't make you bad guys, But if two people on an airplane start walking up and down the aisle wondering loudly about how many passengers would die if the plane blew up, and also how many terrorists are on board *This* Flight, Right *Now* -- that wouldn't make them good guys, either.

It was as of about two weeks ago, so I’m sure that’s still the case. She was considering boosting Galactic Starcruiser up first; not sure how that was decided. The wait is agonizing for us, but with the length and depth of all recent videos, and that she makes several simultaneously while also working, it’s very much to be expected!
