bloom, fruit, wilt, rot, grow (Patreon)

and we begin a new year together. I don't exactly have any new years resolutions, but I have goals for 2021

-I want to reduce my waste and carbon footprint, by repairing my belongings, reducing how much I buy, and buying used when possible

-I want to go bouldering outside, and take my paddleboard out more this summer

-I want to (finally) buy a van, build it out into something liveable, and move in- ideally an electric Ford E-Transit van

-I'm going to use my pinhole camera. finally.

-I want to educate myself more about the environments I live in and take more action to protect them from resource extraction and climate change

-I want to educate myself more about the Indigenous peoples that live and have lived on the land I am on, and take action to deconstruct the colonial systems that oppress them, up to and including #landback efforts

On a nearer term note- due to the huge snowpack & high avalanche danger so far this season, coupled with the fact that I don't have a car to get myself farther out of town on my own, I doubt I'll have any opportunities to shoot safely anytime soon. I can't wait, though, once I have the opportunity to again!

To all you patrons, new and old, thank you so much. Happy New Year. You've enabled and motivated me to keep this rewarding, beautiful project going for 2+ years now- and I am so grateful to you for it.
