UNIVERSAL FENCE POST SUPPORT FOR THE BIRDHOUSES (Patreon)

Hello my dear friends!

While working on bigger projects, i have designed a new part for the birdhouses which was requested many times.

Its a universal fence post support for all the birdhouses of my collection.

The part is really super easy to print, and it is designed to sit perfectly centered on a comon 4in x 4in fence post.

The smaller tab with a groove in the middle goes under the birdhouse, while the longer one is the one you will screw on the fence post.

The groove in the smaller tab is there for a very specific reason; Some birdhouse have a cleaning hatch screw located right under the post, and the groove will give some clearance to prevent any interference with the screw.

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS:

Use at least 7 walls (7 perimeters) and 25% gyroid infill.

The support will rest with the upper section (the small tab of the "L") against the top of the post, so sagging or warping caused by the sun is impossible.

But remember: Birdhouses should never be placed in direct sun if you wanna have birds in it! A nice, shady area with the entrance of the birdhouse facing north/east is highly recommended.
