Hello my fantastic friends! I hope you're doing well!!!

Many people know that I am not someone who likes to capitalize on big brand products. I have a deep respect for copyrights, and I don't venture into this area too often.

On the other hand, I tell myself that a little model once in a while can be pleasant, just to make a change!

Recently a friend of mine asked me for a set of coasters for his playroom. Ideally focused on video games. Being a big fan of Mario Bros, i choosed to make some Thwomp Coasters, which had the perfect shape to suit the application!

That's why tonight I'm offering this model to you too! A very simple little model that I developed to be printed either on a conventional printer or on a multicolor one like the AMS system.

For conventional printers: The coaster is multi-piece. The teeth and eyes are printed separately and glued on afterwards. The three eye colors are obtained with color changes at the correct layer, and the layer number is related to your layer height.

Two images for assembly are provided in the "instructions" folder.

For multicolor printers:

A STL file of the complete coaster is provided to be painted in the various slicers that exist. The Stl is in the Bambu Lab project folder. But this file can be used in any slicer.

You will also find in this folder, the complete project applicable to Bambu Studio, with the colors already pre-configured. The color changes for the eyes are set by layer (you have to slice the plate to see the colors in the preview bar) while the complete coaster on the last plate is painted using the painting tool.

NOTE: Both in the Bambu Lab file and in the STL folder, you will find two types of tray. One for 4 coasters, and the other for 8. Just choose the one you need.

In any case, if you are having difficulty with the files, simply send me a private message and I will try to help you as best I can.

Will be back soon with some new models!

Have fun my friends!!! Keep printing!

These are great, but there seems to be a slight problem in the complete coaster plate for the Bambu Lab version. There appears to be a missing layer underneath the white of the eyes which means the eyes are not attached to anything and become detached very easily. It is possible to print the eyes out separately and glue them in, so not a big problem but just thought i'd point it out. Regards, Mike.

I will have a look at this! Probably the eyes have a bad constraint in the assembly. Will make an update! Thanks for notifying me!!!

Hello my friend! Yes you can scale them up if you want! Everything should be fine. I realize that i forgot to mention it in the original post. I will correct the original post right now! You can scale them in the three axis, but you can do it in the X and Y axis only if you want to keep the original thickness. In both cases, don't forget to scale the tray too! ;)
