Hello fantastic friends!

Here's a really cute project for the fishing enthusiasts and a great idea for father's day!

As you will have noticed, it is a giant fishing bobber which is actually a beverage cooler. It can also be used as a cooler for food and other similar needs.

The design as shown in the pictures is printable on a 225x225mm bed.

The project is once again a simple project to print, however you will need to consider the following:

-All parts print without supports. BUT!

The top part of the bobber (the white part) has slightly capricious overhangs. If your printer does not tolerate these overhangs well, simply flip the part the other way (180 degrees) and add support to the center part.

The piece called "RED - Bobber Top Pin" prints WITHOUT supports despite the center counterbore. I applied a formula called "sequential bridging" which provides the necessary bridges in stages so that the counterbore prints without supports. So no need for supports.

-Applying a little furniture polish (like Pledge) to the threads can help greatly with making them slide together, and dirt won't stick to them once the polish is completely dry.

-DO NOT TOO TIGHTEN when closing the cooler!!! The rounded shape of the cooler doesn't have much grip. So once the cover is screwed all the way down, don't tighten it any further! There are small teeth on the bottom to prevent going too far, but even there it's easy to overtighten. So stop tightening as soon as you touch the bottom part.

If you accidentally overtighten the lid, have someone hold the base of the cooler and use both hands around the top red pin to unscrew the top section. This is the reason for the grooves on the base of the red pin, in order to be able to force without breaking the assembly.

-REQUIRED HARDWARE: (2x) M4 x 10mm or M4 x 12mm

-The design can be scale up or down if needed. But you will need bigger or smaller screws than the ones in the description.

-Use at least 4 walls and add a few more tops and bottoms.

Regarding the gluing of the "RED - Bobber Top Pin" part, it is the only part for which I recommend a two-part epoxy glue. (5 minutes epoxy). CA glue will work, but due to its consistency epoxy will make your life a little easier. But it is purely optional.

Have fun my friends! Hope you like it!!! Pascal
