Hello my beloved friends!
I hope everyone is doing well!
This fairy house model has been requested several times in the past months. I had started a design last month, but since another designer released something very similar, I decided to do a rework of my design and only release it this month.
So here it is for everyone's enjoyment; The beehive fairy house!!! With his cute wind turbine to be totally eco-friendly!!!
First thing to know: it's a floating fairy house. It is therefore suspended from its branch when on its base, but it is also possible to print it without the base, and hang it anywhere outside such as a tree, in a gazebo or your garden. (See last picture) Putting several in your garden here and there will give a nice firefly effect to your decor especially if you buy those rechargeable remote-controlled tealights on amazon! (link at the end of the post)
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-First thing i would like to say about this project: Make a fit-check with your tealight first!!! The design is made for 38mm tealights. So the first thing to do, is to print the upper part of the bottom door and make sure your tealight fits in! If its too big, scale the whole project to a correct size.
-The whole project is support free.
-This project can be printed on any type of printer. For the multicolor parts, everything can be printed with color changes at a specific height, a process any 3d printer can do. If you are not familiar with color changes, send me a private message and i will guide you with some links.
-Some parts are designed with fuzzy skin in mind. It is not mandatory but it will add a bit of texture to the parts.
-All the parts are placed in the right orientation for printing.
-A complete Bambu Lab project file is included.
REGARDING THE BAMBU LAB PROJECT FILE:
Again, for the multicolor parts, the color changes are set by layers and are not painted on the part. You need to slice the plate to see the color change.
TIPS: To have an even lighting when the fairy house is lit, i recommend to use 4 walls for the Beehive. I also recommend this setting for the tree, to have a strong part that will not break easily.
So that's it my friend! I think the instructions in the zip file will cover all the other aspects of the projects.
If you have questions or problems, feel free to send me a private message!!!
Have fun my friends! Hope you like it!
