Hello my dear Friends

I'll give you a little update this evening on things to come.

First, I'm working on the final details of the next Book nook! Many many of you asked for something Steampunk inspired, so needless to say that this is the theme that I took inspiration from.

This design is very technical for me, because I decided to create a book nook that is not only pretty, but also animated and functional with a well-defined utility.

I won't tell you more at the moment, but the picture above is a screenshot of my design in progress. And yes, the gears will be movable and animated!!!

My goal is to release this design by the end of the week. I am curently experiencing some delays with my amazon orders, but i will try to find a substitute for my missing parts. I hope yoi will like it, because there is a lot of work and thinkering inside this one!!!

I am also working on the followings:

-Another fairy house model. Since you are familiar with this type of design and there are few things to mention besides the theme directly, I will keep the surprise until the end.

-An update for the pencil boxes. This one is pretty challenging, because i am trying to "save" the design, by giving it a better way to close, but the current design really doesn't give me much room to figure something out and I really don't have much wiggle room if I want to avoid redoing the entire design. So I've been working very hard on this design for quite a while, in order to come up with a solution that will allow me to maintain the integrity of the design and get around the current constraints.

-Another birdhouse model. Again, I will make you languish until the very end and be stingy with details, in order to maintain the surprise!

Finally, i will release an update tonight on one of the existing model that was requested a lot. Will make the post in a couple of minutes.

So that's it for the moment my friends! Hope you are having fun printing all the stuff in the dropbox, and thanks a lot again to every one of you for your supporting my work!!! Have a great day!!!

Nekuian, i have deleted your comment regarding the Hot Wheels diorama by mistake, sorry for that!!! But Don't worry, I am not backing off on them. I will explain that to you in a few minutes

So exciting! My printer is humming with anticipation!

So excited! Thank you. Also I think it would be amazing if you made a cute useable mailbox in the future. It seems like something right up your alley, I love your art style, and I haven’t been able to find a nice mailbox out there. Just a friendly suggestion :) thank you again!

Ok, regarding the Hot Wheels dioramas, i have two models in progress as we speak. The main reason why its taking longer than before to finish them, its because many people have requested the rest of the models for the large Back to the Future diorama. And for those buildings, i need to do more research and be careful with the details. That's why it is longer than usual for the release of those models. But i am still trying to release a new generic model each month, like the overpass released at the beginning of this month.

Everything you make is worth the wait! Keep em' coming!

Totally random question, but considering you are a designer who makes fantastic models that have so many different files I'm interested to know how you organize your files during the design process. Do you maintain different folders for different sections of the model, or are you maintaining a single design file saying something like fusion. How are you maintaining different versions of different parts and keeping them organized. I have severe ADD and I'm always struggling to maintain a organization standard. And I often second guess my decisions so I'm seeking some input from professional like yourself but how to effectively organize my own files. Nowhere near an expert I would barely consider myself a novice, but I still do a tremendous amount of tinkering and often find myself repeating my effort because of lack of organization or a lack of a method to follow

I would love to see your birdhouses as fairy houses too.

I'm super excited about another book nook, especially a steampunk one. I'd love to see a Christmas themed one too.
