Update on the coffin candy box! (Patreon)

Hello my dear friends! Me again!

Just another quick post to let you know that i made another update, but on the coffin candy box this time. Some of you have requested a cover with less play.

So i have updated the interior trim (Which is now called "GRAY - INTERIOR TRIM V2") to make it a little bit tighter around the cover lining.

I have also updated the Bambu Lab 3mf file with the new trim.

I have made some test here at home and it looks pretty good. The cover can't move from side to side but it still super easy to open.

You are the judges, tell me if its better this way. I prefer the updated version and i think you will too.

The new file is in the zip file in the original post.

What kind of glue do you guys like for this stuff. I’m so over superglue and want something better?

Does the coffin need support.? It stand straight straight up when I put it on the plate.

Hi Nathan. No its supposed to be placed flat on the bed, like a real coffin would be placed. I just checked both project and single stl file, and both are laying flat on the bed. Are you slicing with PrusaSlicer? Because if yes, i know PrusaSlicer do that sometimes. Like an auto-rotate feature or something like that, but i didnt find any info on the web. I know some users experienced the same thing and it seems to be only with PrusaSlicer. Just put the coffin flat on the bed and everything will be fine. Sorry for that, i will try to investigate why its doing this sometimes...

Hey, thanks for the quick response. Yes I actually am using the Prusa slicer so that would definitely make sense. I appreciate it and I will make it flat. Can’t wait to print!

I use for all models Polybond PMMA profi, it's like a welder for PLA and other plastics, it doesn´t stick to your fingers and no very dirty as cyanocrilate and strong results in 10-20 seconds

I love this file! It prints flawlessly, as usual with your designs. The only issue I'm having is that the new interior trim is too tight. I have to use a screwdriver to pry the lid off. Is there a way to get the original file for the trim to see if that works better for me? Or can you recommend a way to adjust the tolerance? Thank you!!

@PA1 MAKER I too am having this issue that dwaldron is having. Everything prints perfect but I need a screwdriver to open it since it is so tight on bambu studio.

@PA1_MAKER Would it be possible to get an option on the lid for a pentagram as well as the cross?

@PA1_MAKER - I am wondering the same or one blank - I am seeing some out there being printed with the pentagram, was this released by you?

I have seen that shop too, they also have an upside down cross and another type of pentagram. Would be neat to have a few options or a blank top to tweak ourself.
