Hello my dear friends!

I promised a Fairy House for Halloween, so promise kept! A beautiful candy corn fairy house, in Halloween colors with a little spooky look!

With its abandoned house details and the scarecrow that you surely recognize, it fits into any Halloween decoration without problem!

As usual, no support is required. The names of the pieces are coded by color and quantity, and all the pieces are already placed in the right direction for printing!

When the beginning of a file name contains more than one color (example: Black_white), it is because color changes are required, by layer.

You do not need a multicolor printer to realize this project. For example, the 3 colors of the candy corn are obtained by simply changing colors at the right layer. If you are not familiar with this process, simply send me a private message and I will guide you. I didn't define a specific color change area on the house. It's up to you to decide where you will make your yellow, orange and white color changes. Each candy corn is different and so will this one! :p

A Bambu Lab project file is also included. NOTE: The color changes are already set in the 3mf file BUT BY LAYER and not painted. So you have to slice the plate and watch the preview to see the associated color changes.

The whole thing is lit by a simple battery-powered tealight. You can find them in any good dollar store or on Amazon quite easily. If you go on Amazon and it's for your personal use, I highly recommend the ones with the remote control and which are rechargeable. A pure marvel. (see the link below)

So basically, it's a project similar to all the other fairy houses. So I won't take up any more of your time on the subject!

Have fun my friends! Hope you like it!!!

Who knew candy corn could be so cute??!! And now our fairy families can enjoy living in them!! Hah!! Thanks for another great addition to the fairy house series!!!

darrin tidwell

how did you download it, I just joined

James Kulm

You need to go to PA1 maker main patreon page. There is a link to Dropbox. Under the link is the password needed to access the files on Dropbox. Then scroll down to the items you want to download. Good luck.

first go at the candy corn, using bambu labs, it shifted when it went to first color change. reprinting and will try to catch it at that point and see if my machine did it. slicer doesn't show anything off. UPDATE!! second attempt came out perfect. must have been operator error :). awsome model

Chris Griffin

What color did you use for the "glass" on the windows and door. One picture it looks like an ice blue and the lit up picture they look yellow

Jennifer Barron

I have a Prusa with MMU just learning to use. Anyone know how I make the color changes work?

Looks great and thank you, usually you show the parts before assembly, so, are the house parts 3 different parts or did you print that in one piece?

PA1 MAKER

Glad the second try worked fine! :)

PA1 MAKER

Default settings should be fine with at least three walls. ;) (0.4 or 0.45mm line width)

Hi my friend! Unfortunately, I assembled the model and then realize i didnt took a picture of the individual parts. Sorry for that, my bad. But the house body is a single piece model with color changes for the three colors. I didnt specify any heights for the color changes, because its up to you to decide if you want more or less of a color in your candy corn. But if you have Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio, you can open the 3mf file in the folder and see where i have put mine. I will try to have a look tomorrow and give you the exact layers for the color changes.

Outdtdmdl

thank you for your reply, unfortunately for me, i have creality e3's an s-5 and a 5 plus. keep up the good work, i will check out the other slicers you mentioned

Bill MacIntosh

What layer heights for the color changes?

Jeff Robinson

most LED tea lights are yellow to resemble flame, so they will light up a light blue window as yellow

Danny Nicoletti

You can still do a pause and color swap on those printers.

Outdtdmdl

the pause and restart don't work well for me. i would rather multi print the parts by level.

Gina Garcia

I am soooo excited, I am about to try this out! :) Where can I find the cute little ghost and pumkpins? I may just not be seeing them. :) TIA!

Merissa

hi how do I do the 3 colors on the candy corn

Chellee

Love this print so much! But I’m having for some reason the teeth keep failing.

I've literally tried printing the bone fence "5" times now with zero success. The bones pop off incredibly easy, so easy it makes it a one time use display given how easy they break. I tried different filament types and brands and still have the same issue. On the 5th print I increased the walls to 3 with 50% infill. It's more sturdy but still had a bone that didn't want to play nice. The most unfriendly ones are to the right of the opening. The break is happing at the color change level.
