Hello friends!

Just a quick post tonight to say something really cool about the abandonned house!

When I created the design, I reused the floor pieces of the second floor to create the base of the roof.

And I realized this week that (thanks to this), it is possible to add a third floor to the house! All you have to do to make it look that way is to print the second floor pieces a second time and stack them on top before adding the roof!

And there you have it! A bigger house and a more eye-catching diorama! This of course is conditional on whether you glued the roof or not. But if your roof is not glued to the 2nd floor, you can make this modification without any changes and simply by printing the missing pieces.

In order to break up the uniformity a bit, I also created some boards to barricade the round window in the center of the front of the house.

So that's it for this quick little post!

I added the new boards to the project folder, and I also included the new boards in the Bambu Lab project file. ("HALLOWEEN 2024 - THE ABANDONED HOUSE" in the dropbox)

Have fun my friends!

But then ... what's the limit ... for 3-4-5 more floors ? If people are remixing a floor , the google drive to share remix is almost ready to be used :)

Wow!! What a difference that 3rd floor made to the look of this diorama!! Great way to make this as expandable as we'd like!! Thanks for adding it to the files!!

What a great surprise! It looks fantastic!

I was assuming as much when I was assembling mine glad to see it fits as I expected. Would love to see this option on future buildings since it really helps us customize and differentiate from each others prints when selling.

I went in the opposite direction, one of the houses I printed was a haunted rancher, atleast for a day while I did other stuff and printed the second floor. It didn't look bad at all.

Is there a chance to get a list of what all you need to print for the 3rd floor

Jedi Mickey

I'm not seeing any added STLs or extra plates in the 3mf either.

love this house and definitely will be adding the 3rd floor
