Hello friends!

A quick post to let you know that last year's Christmas desktop fireplace was updated!

Many people asked for more hook options, to customize the fireplace with a specific number of socks, depending on the number of family members the customer needs.

So i made a few versions; 3, 4, 5 and 6 hook versions are now available.

You will find the new individual stl files in the stl folder, with the correct number of holes at the end of each file name.

I have also modified the BambuLab project file to include all the options on the same plate. Just choose the one you want, but make sure you are printing the correct amount of socks. (The original project file has 4 socks in it)

So there you have it! Simple as that!

You will find the new files in the original post here:

Joe Martinez

Any chance we get a police station to go along with the fire station this year?

Ruthanne

i cut names out with vinyl last year

Ruthanne

glad you did this. Now i can make more this year.

Mrstrikerace

Flashforge has taken your design and put their logo in the wreath and put the fireplace file out for free. Terrible world we live in when big companies are stealing all the time.

PA1 MAKER

Hi Joe! Will have a look at it, see what i can do! ;)

Randy clayton

If anyone sells at events and such what do yall price this one as?

Darknynja

Very thoughtful Pascal. Thank you.

Joe Martinez

Oh that would be amazing. I am a dispatcher and there are a lot of jealous police officers and their wives that are looking for good christmas gifts :)

Andy Ehgartner

hello, where can I download this file?

Deborah Ortiz

Pascal has some of the BEST designs on Patreon!

PA1 MAKER

Hello Andy! At the top of the page, you will find a post called "New link and Password for November". At the bottom of this post, you will find the info to access the dropbox. :) Once you have logged into the dropbox, all the files are there, the whole library. If you wanna have a look at a project before downloading it, just double click the zip file directly into dropbox, click on the photos folder and you'll be able to look at the pictures directly into dropbox.

PA1 MAKER

Thank you so much Deborah!!! ❤️

Hello my friend! Nadia is totally right! i had a partnership last year with flashforge for an exclusive model for them, and they authorized me to make the above version for the Patreon. But at first, the model was made for Flashforge exclusively. But i really appreciate you took the time to notify me, because many others are using my files without my consent. Have a great and thanks again! Pascal

I added names with Orcaslicer. Some recommendations based on my experience with adding text to the stockings; by default a lot of letters will have gaps in formation of the letter that you can only see in preview mode (always examine preview mode before print!). To fix this, I clicked bold next to the font, I used segoe print font (worked best for me), and most importantly, I set the boldness field to 100. That last step completely filled in the gaps for me and prints great now. Also recommend . 12 layer height

Just joined after finding this design through a fb group. Thank you for your generosity with your Patreon. Your designs are incredible. I wanted to ask, is there a way to test/check if the bridging settings are going to be ok for this print? I thought about chopping out a small part of the front of the fireplace as a quick test but wanted to see if you had a better way. Thank you

Jean-Pierre Dubé

Hello I very new to 3D printing. Can we add text on the sock ,like name ?

Sami Gale

Pascal, I've just had a thought, is there any way to get the upper part to have a space for the countdown cubes from the chimney? I've been modifying it myself but I'm far less eloquent in my 3D designs than you are so I thought I would pass the idea along. I thought of putting the countdown chimney on top but the bricks are so different. Thank you

Javier

i love it. it’s still crazy to me how my make of this fireplace got me 34k views on tiktok 🙈

Thres

Hi. Is it possible to have the wreath without a bow, so that it is possible to write words instead? And as a two part component, so the bow can be one color?

Thres

Oh, I almost forgot to say I love the model, it is great work and an easy print :)

Marti Reusch

Where are the present files that are in some of the pictures for the fireplace? The little multicolor red and green ones on the mantle?

PA1 MAKER

Hi Marti They are in the project called "CHRISTMAS - SANTA'S SLEIGH DECORATION". :)

PA1 MAKER

Really happy to read that my friend! :)

Phil

what color is everyone using for the bricks

Escrich

Any option to get a 2 socks option?, thanks in advance

Adam

I used Bambu labs PLA matte red. Came up really well

EmberDragon3D

I used some vinyl and some resin...

Gloria Henao

I did the vinyl but i found out how to add it. You create the name can be in canva and save it as svg, then right click on the sock add part svg and then you start playing :)
