Hello my fantastic friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Tonight I present to you a brand new model to add to your Christmas fairy house collection! Last year the hot cocoa mug was very popular, and this year I decided that its "cup" version would be a perfect addition to the already existing little village!

So here it is! It's a cute little cup, surrounded by fir trees and topped with whipped cream, a hard candy and a cinnamon stick! Although it is of the same inspiration, you will notice that it is very different from its counterpart, the mug, with different elements and a unique atmosphere of its own!

Like all fairy houses, the project is very simple to make and the whole thing prints relatively quickly. The assembly is just as easy!

As usual:

- All the pieces are placed in the right orientation for printing. If I have ever misplaced a piece by mistake,  do not hesitate to let me know!

- The project is 100% support free.

- File names coded by colors and quantities (when applicable)

- Some pieces were printed with fuzzy skin. It is indicated in the file name if you should use the fuzzy skin or  not. You can also print the project without fuzzy skin if you prefer.

- Some pieces require color changes. The required colors are indicated in the file name. The height of the  color change depends on your layer height. If you are not familiar with color changes, just mention it to me  in a private message and I will guide you with some links.

BAMBULAB USERS:

-A 3mf file is included for the full project.

-A STL of a one-piece version for the hard candy is included in the BambuLab folder. (in order to paint it)

-The project file already contains the color changes, however they are by layer height and not painted  (except for the hard candy), so you have to slice the plate in order to see the color changes in the preview.

-In the file, the fuzzy skin is already set by objects.

In any case, if you have any problems, you can always send me your questions in private message, and you can also check out our fantastic facebook community for some help by following the link below:

So that's it!

Have fun my friends!!! Hope you like it! :)

So pretty! What filament did you use for the red cup?

Kevin B

Looks great, excited to print!

Cameo

This is adorable! Cannot wait to print it. The amount of joy this gave me is unreal. Thank you!

Mike Boock

Dang - that’s another good one!

Jamie Robinson

Absolutely adorable!!! I need to get to ordering filament!! I love that satin look of the red you used.

PA1 MAKER

Glad you like it! :) Unfortunately I won't give the reference for the red filament , because it was in a "christmas bundle" of 3 rolls from last year which is... pretty deceiving! :( It was supposed to be a bundle of Red, green and gold, but the green is not nice at all and the gold is more like a beige. And its impossible to buy only one of the colors, they were only in the special edition bundle so... I don't even know if its still available this year... :( Sorry for that!

Thanks Kevin! Glad you like it! :)

Absolutely adorable! Can’t wait ❤️

Thanks a lot Kendra! :) I love reading comments like this!!! :)

no worries, there are some really pretty dark red silks that I think will look nice. :)

You are so welcome! I have to finish the Abandoned House. I told my son we are getting two floors now and next Halloween I’ll add a third floor. My Bambu is literally falling apart. I have a ticket in. It’s not that old but all kinds of problems all at once. I can’t wait to make the Christmas presents❤️

Jake Ezzo

So gorgeous! Hoping the Dreidel house can become a reality this year! :)

Shredder3D

Is there any way you can do a non fuzzy tree in the size that is needed on this print? The fuzzy just takes to long to print to keep the price points we want to stay in.

Natalie Johnson

You should be able to just avoid fuzzy skin in general by not turning the function on in your slicer 😊

Deborah Ortiz

By far some of the BEST designs I have ever seen! LOVE your creativity!

Shredder3D

I will have to try with this one, he had one other that we could not change it at all

Freysis

Amazing 😍

Frédéric Lallement

Fuzzy skin is never part of the design .. but it's a slicer option ... Pascal always set the fuzzy skin by object and not in the global settings so it's always possible to remove it , if you wants

Frédéric Lallement

The 3mf projects provided are always set to 0.12 for the layer height , do you all print PA1 designs in 0.12 ?

BadActor

He's stated that for the little increase in time during printing it gives a much better result.

Jake Ezzo

It's another fairy house, but it is based on a Dreidel for Hanukkah. It's the spinning top. So many of the people that buy from me have been asking for one, and I know it would fill a niche from the lack of Hanukkah stuff out there!

Shredder3D

Would some one know where I mi9ght be able to find this on Bambu Slicer? as when I have tried with under special mode Fuzzy Skin and it is set to non when I slice and still is printing fuzzy, so I am not sure what I am missing in a setting.

Alexis Garcia

Printing it right now! It looks fire!

Studio 431

Gorgeous!!!! Can you please share the filament for the snow/whipped cream?

How I can download stl files ?

Any white should do.

You’re viewing it on the global view. Click the object and change the settings on the local object level. Feel free to message me on FB and I can direct you with a screen shot

What red was used for the cup? The sliced file just indicates red pla, but the picture looks like it is silk and a deeper shade of red. I really like the color.

Alex

Hello, I have a problem with the cup, I tried the Bambu A1 and A1 Mini. The problem starts where the 2 windows are and are separated. I lose the connection at the top, so it broke off and the printer knocked the print out of the plate twice, that's why. Anyone have a tip? It's really only at this point where the windows are separated that he loses the connection to the rest and then shit happens. Otherwise I think everything here is great.

Mark Butala

did you find the drop box, i can't

Chris West

It’s the top pinned post of this Patreon.

Had the same issue. There is a line right above the windows where the filament starts to meet. I tried supports which helped.

Kriegst_N_Keks

I used Tinmorry PLA Silk Red . It is almost the same color

Janna Vanderhoof

I'm new to 3d printing and printing this design. I used Bambu Studio, which I'm new to also. When I pulled in the project, it had 12 plates and later I saw that the cinnamon roll was not on a plate so I added a plate and moved it. It printed fine. I just realized that the windows, although the title and instructions indicate they are blue with white on top, mine only shows the blue color and so printed the frame blue also. I'd like to start assembling but I need to know what the issue is with the Bambu files, please. In the meantime, I should be able to go to the other files and print that part out, right? Thank you for your help! EDITED: I painted the white on the window frame and it printed correctly. I may have needed to orient the windows face down so that it printed the white first like the door but it still looks good. This is going to look so beautiful!

PA1 MAKER

Hi Janna Like it is mentionned in the post, all my color changes are by layers and not painted. This means that when you open the bambulab file, the multi-colored pieces will appear to be a single color. You have to slice the plate first to see the other colors in the preview. The color changes are in the slider bar of the preview. They are not painted for two reasons: painting simple sections like these can cause delays in printing time due to Bambu Lab's management. There is also the fact that many people use OrcaSlicer (which is an exact copy of Bambu Studio) for printers other than BambuLab and that are not multi-colored. So by being set per layer instead of painted, the 3mf files can also be used by all users and not only Bambu Lab users, as long as they use OrcaSlicer. Everything is explained here: (copy/paste the link) https://www.patreon.com/posts/color-change-at-105881365?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask my friend! Have a great day! Pascal

Pascal, your files are a dream. I love them so much. I want to live in these villages! Thank you so much for the wonderful creations you make.

KIMBERLY

I've been searching - but is there a list of pla brands/colors you used to print this? I love the red and am trying to find it.
