Hello fantastic friends!
A brand new addition to the Hot Wheels Christmas Village!!! The police station!
This 1/64 scale diorama (Hot Wheels scale) has been requested very often! So I created this version adapted to the already existing Hot Wheels Christmas Village, and I designed the model to be usable in both Christmas and regular mode.
If you want it in regular mode, simply ignore the Christmas/winter elements when you print it.
I had a small problem when making it; I don't have a police car in my Hot Wheels!!! None! So I had to improvise and I transformed a beautiful Ford Escort Rs2000 into a rather unique patrol car by creating mini police lights!
So that you can do the same thing on your side, I put the stl file of the police lights in the files. So you can turn any Hot Wheels into a patrol car!
That being said, what important things should you know about this project? This:
-All files are placed in the correct orientation for printing.
-You will need tree supports on windows and other openings in the main walls. It is possible to do them with a bridge, but the arch ones are tricky and if you don't want to take any chances, just use the supports.
-As usual, the file names are coded by colors, quantities and options (like fuzzy skin) to help you prepare your plates.
-A BambuLab file is included in the project folder. As I often mention, options like fuzzy skin are already applied per object. And the color changes are already applied too BUT ARE NOT PAINTED. THEY ARE APPLIED PER LAYER. So you have to slice the plate first to be able to see the applicable color changes.
-Detailed instructions are included as usual, and I recommend that you read them a little in advance in order to understand the steps and also to do dry fit checks (without glue) in order to understand how the pieces fit together.
-The design is also adaptive. The Police station sign is removable (see instructions) and therefore the building can become a library, a museum or any other element that you like!
-I have also included a copy of this post inside the instructions folder for your convenience.
I lit my design with remote control tealights that I found on Amazon. I leave you the link below. It is a Canadian link, but it is possible to find the same product on most Amazon platforms.
So there you have it! I think I have covered everything there is to say.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to let me know!
Have fun my friends! Keep printing!!!
