EASTER EGG MAGNETIC CONTAINER (Patreon)

Hello friends!
I have a lot to talk about in the coming days. A few posts will follow today and tomorrow, but for now, let's go with a second little Easter design!
We needed a large egg container to hide treats for my niece's daughter. So I designed this beautiful Easter egg, dotted with chicks, flowers, and love.
The two halves close with four small magnets, making it relatively easy to open.
At approximately 130mm high, it's still possible to hide a lot of things inside: stuffed animals, toys, large chocolates, and much more.
However, I designed the design to use as little filament as possible. Also, since it will be used for children, I also wanted to have a minimum of strength. So I found a good compromise between the two factors. At 130mm height and 3 walls in my settings, the whole thing uses approximately 75g of filament.
Since the designs are embossed, it will be super easy for you to paint them in Bambu Studio if you wish.
IMPORTANT POINT: For some reason, my modeling software refuses to transfer the solid into a lower-resolution STL. So, both models contain more than 1M triangles.
You can still slice them like this. That's what I did. But you can also lower the quality of the models in the slicer if your computer is slow to process the slice.
The magnets I used are 5mm by 2mm thick round magnets like these:
Make sure the magnets are well glued in place. Magnets can be dangerous for little kids. They can be glued with CA glue or 5min epoxy. To help them glue in place, i like to rub the magnet faces (the one going into the hole) onto fine grit sand paper, just to etch them a bit and give something to the glue to grab on.
For the filament, I used "Banana" and "Candy" from Polymaker's Polyterra range.
If you have any questions, please let me know. You can also (for advice on printing, assembly, or similar questions) visit our wonderful community's Facebook page, which focuses solely on my models. Many members will be happy to help you, and it helps me focus on the models in production!
I won't take up any more of your time, and I'll get back to you shortly with a question regarding a Patreon offer for its content creators!
Have fun!!! Keep printing!!!
