Hello friends! I hope you're all doing wonderfully!

Today, fairy houses and book nooks come together to form a single design!

So, I'm presenting this wonderful project that can be both a fairy house and a book nook! Let's think of it as a book shelf fairy house!

Charming apartments are nestled within this stack of pastel-colored books! A few accessories like plants, trees, and lamps add a touch of magic to this arrangement.

Like all my fairy houses, it can be illuminated with battery-operated tealights! The back is completely open, giving you easy access to the inside of the structure, allowing you to place one or two tealights to light up this lovely scene.

The project is as simple as most of my other projects; however, I highly recommend adding supports to the books, as the curved window openings can cause problems because they won't bridge correctly.

The project is made to be print on any type of printers, including the mini ones. The original size of the project is made to be printable on a mini format printer (180x180x180mm). That's the size of the assembly in my pictures. But you can enlarge the project if you want without any problems.

One other small detail but worth mentioning: The book name tags are printed flat with color changes at the right layer, so everyone can print them, even those without a multi-color printer. When you stick them on, you'll need to curve them into place. No heat is required, no special steps are necessary; they're very thin and stick directly in place with a little pressure. It's really that simple.

Some pieces require fuzzy skin. The file names of the parts that need it clearly indicate which ones. These are obviously the trees and small plants I'm referring to.

In either case, if you're not familiar with layer color changes or fuzzy skin, feel free to mention it or ask for help on my Facebook page. My super friendly followers will be happy to answer and help you.

Also, a complete Bambu Lab project file is included, as usual, with all the required settings already applied. Again, my color changes are by layers, so you need to slice the plate first to see the color changes in the preview window.

As I often recommend, read the instructions carefully and, above all, do dry fit checks (without glue) to see how the pieces will fit together. This will save you from costly mistakes.

I've tried to document the entire project thoroughly in the instructions, so there shouldn't be any ambiguities or problems.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT DETAIL:

I'm currently adapting the design to include it in the Christmas designs! Yes! I'm already starting to think about the festive season, and I believe this design will go perfectly with the existing Christmas fairy house designs. So, I'm reworking it a bit and adding some typical Christmas elements. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate! ;)

With that, I won't take up any more of your time! I'll let you get back to your printers and enjoy the pleasure they bring us!

Have a wonderful day, take care, and thank you all for your continued support. I truly appreciate it!

We look forward to seeing what you can remix! It should be fairly easy to do within the slicer or even tinkerCAD. Feel free to ping the Facebook group for some tips. -Chris

Is there anyway I could email you to have you customize the books we want? Willing to pay

Chris West

Unfortunately, we don’t take custom request. With that said, there are some very easy tricks for you to edit it yourself. You can do it directly within the slicer or imported into TinkerCAD. Lots of YouTube tutorials on how to do this. This question has also been asked several times in the Facebook group. Take a look there to get some ideas. -Chris
