Hello my dear friends!
Here's another fairy house to add to your collection!
Summer has officially begun, and I thought a little summery touch would be welcome in the fairy house collection.
Warmth and sunshine automatically call for a refreshing drink! And even more so when it's nestled in a beach-like setting!
So here's the perfect little summer drink! With its beach ball, palm trees, and sand-textured base, it officially kicks off the season in style! And as usual, it can be illuminated with a simple battery operated tealight!
So let's start with some information that differs from other fairy houses and that you should know. There's very little, but it's useful to know:
-The palm tree leaves are printed flat and then curved using a heat gun. Since they're grouped in fours, I thought it would be helpful to create a small shaping tool that will allow you to give these leaves a regular shape. It's a very simple tool, essentially a "ball" onto which you can place your leaves and then heat them with the heat gun. There's no need to heat them excessively; as soon as they begin to soften, stop heating and gently shape them around the ball with your fingers. Just be careful not to burn yourself. Although you shouldn't heat them too much, it's essential to remain cautious and ensure your fingers aren't injured.
-Some parts require fuzzy skin. Usually, I let you follow your preferences, but for this design, I'll give you my recommendations, although they are optional and not mandatory. However, the fit of the parts is likely to be better with my settings, so I think it's worth sharing them. Please note that the final result may vary depending on the brand of filament you use and your printer.
For the cream and blades of grass:
Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.2mmFuzzy skin thickness: 0.2mm
For the base:
Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.3mmFuzzy skin thickness: 0.3mm
These are the settings I used, and they are also programmed in the included Bambu Lab project.
So that's it for the specific project details.
The rest is standard:
- Some parts require color changes at the correct layer. It's very simple, and all printers can do it. No need for an AMS or a multi-color printer. If you're unfamiliar with the process, feel free to refer to my Facebook group for help:

- All parts are oriented correctly for printing.
- File names are coded by color, quantity, and settings.
- The project is 100% compatible with a mini printer.
- No supports are required.
- A complete Bambu Lab file is included with the settings already applied and the color changes.
Please note that my color changes are by layers, not painted. Therefore, you must slice the plate first to see the applicable color changes in the preview window.
If you have any questions or have found an error, please let me know!
I'll leave you with that and wish you all a wonderful day and/or evening, depending on where you are in the world!
Have fun, friends, and take care! ❤️
I'll be back very soon with more content!
