Hello friends!

Okay, serious discussion today! And I want your input in the comments, please!

Let's talk Halloween and Christmas! Yes, already!

I've noticed several questions/posts about Christmas already on my Facebook group, and I've also seen several downloads on Cults related to my Christmas projects. So people are starting to print their Christmas decorations, some to sell (Patreon members), others to prepare their personal decorations (on Cults and other sales platforms).

Well before Christmas, Halloween is also approaching. So I've done some research, and here's how I plan to set up my designs this year.

For Halloween designs, I'll start right away. That is, from the beginning of July until the end of August. Or maybe mid-August, I'm still undecided.

After that, I'll dive headfirst into Christmas designs. So September, October, November, and December would be dedicated solely to Christmas. I know Christmas is my biggest seller; many people follow me solely for my Christmas designs, and I also know I tend to perform quite well in this category, having distinguished myself on more than one project.

So here's question number one: what are your thoughts on this? Agree or disagree? Does the timeframe mentioned for the two holidays work for you?

Second question: I'd like to see your ideas on certain topics.

HALLOWEEN: What direction are we heading in? More countdown calendars? Illuminated or not? Large designs like haunted houses, whether Hot Wheels style or the Candy Halloween House that also doubles as a candy dish? Smaller items like the candy coffin? Give me your opinion on this.

CHRISTMAS: Regarding the gingerbread train, which cars would you like to see added? What other elements (for example, the truck and the station) would you like to see added to the collection? What do you think of a Christmas Ferris wheel to go with the train station? Or perhaps more Nutcrackers in different styles? Feel free to share your ideas; I want to see your requests and be inspired by your needs. I'm not saying everything will be considered, but there's never too much.

Don't hesitate to "like" any other comments or ideas you find interesting. Comments with multiple likes are likely to greatly influence me.

And here, I've only scratched the surface of what I have in mind.

The only thing I ask is that you keep in mind what I'm good at. Look through my other projects from past years, see what I've done in the past, and draw inspiration from what I'm currently modeling.

Remember, I'm not a sculptor, and "characters" aren't really my thing. I'll leave that to others, so requests like "a golden retriever under a Christmas tree" for example are unlikely to materialize.

I could potentially incorporate some smaller, more morphological details like a tiny chiby Santa Claus for the (e.g) the Train Station, but that's conditional on you agreeing to let me use AI, which I'm not sure I find ethical, as many of you know.

However, a beautiful, detailed Christmas fireplace with lovely architectural details that would stand out from existing ones. Elf doors to apply to your walls. Illuminated architectural models, detailed Santa's sleigh, or any other projects of that nature are the kind of ideas i'm looking for. As you know, I'm very good at that. And this is just a small example.

So there you have it. Let me know your requests for additions to the current collections or entirely new elements that I haven't yet worked on. I'm incredibly motivated, ready to deliver projects that are different from and/or complement what we already have, and I'm more than ready to get to work, whether it's for Halloween or Christmas!

If you wanna have a look at the older collections to inspire you, here they are:

With that, I won't take up any more of your time. I look forward to reading your comments and taking note of them!

See you soon, friends!

Yes, super agree to the early start! Huge Halloween lover - I love the countdowns (for Halloween and Christmas) but would love some smaller stuff like the coffin as well. Its nice to have a nice range of items of varying sizes for selling to those with different budgets. No matter what I am super excited to see what you bring out for this year's holiday season

Fabs Supply Co.

More Christmas village building and homes

Sharon Devereux

I'm definitely up for you releasing christmas designs earlier to give us time to print and market them. Would love some little elf doors. Thats such a good idea. A tooth fairy version would be amazing for this too! The fireplace is a big seller for me so another design would be fab. Love the idea of a christmas ferris wheel too.

Sugarkriss

I honestly am I HUGE fan of Halloween, but Christmas is such a better seller. I say go big for both! You never disappoint, I appreciate all you do. Thank you!

Nekuian

Personally I am mainly a supporter for the Hot Wheels, so for me I would love more Halloween and Christmas sets.

BobaFett

I absolutely love tackling the big, intricate builds. The haunted houses have been some of my favorite projects, and adding a second story made the build even more fun and rewarding. I’d also love to see a new style of Nutcracker that could be printed in different sizes. Honestly, though, anything you design and create is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

T G

I would love to see an animated / electronic type Halloween item. Or maybe something cutesy to pass out for trick or treaters? But I love all things Christmas 🤩!

KD

Gingerbread train - reindeer car! Open gondola car to add our own design elements, I.e. Christmas trees, presents. No countdown calendars. Hot wheels - yes!!! No on the Ferris wheel Elf doors - yes!! Santa’s sleigh would be new and different - yes!! Buildings that can be scaled up from 1:64 to 1:32. Printed in sections. That’s my 2 cents 🙂

BobaFett

Oh, I love the tooth fairy idea a tooth house would be so cool

Sheila J Palotnick

I think your timeframe plan is spot on, and it seems to me that Christmas is your biggest seller. Halloween and Christmas are why I subscribe. I LOVED the coffins, but I printed a few very large lol. Santa's workshop in Gingerbread collection?

Mark

What ever happened i’m sure it’ll be well worth of weight.

BigDogPrintsNJ

Totally agree, it will be here before we know it. I always have ideas swirling around in my head haha... So excited to see what you create. The only thing I was thinking regarding Halloween would be a play on Salem. They are honoring their 400th Anniversary this year so maybe a creepy cemetery or the Salem witch trails memorial??

Rocky Creek Crafts and 3D

Definitely agree. I would like to see some kind of Advent Calendar building, if you could. I love the big stuff as well, but I do feel the smaller stuff is more sought after. I would love to see more Christmas village items, as I have already been asked about them this year.

Jesse Fabbro

I know this might sound strange but what about a Christmas and Halloween themed bird houses ?

Paula Hodgson

Christmas village but with a Whoville twist / theme.

Allison Hutton

I adore Halloween! I would love to see an older style hearse. Whether it be a bird house style or lamp

Jrod629

I'm good with the time line. I would prefer more Halloween houses. If you do more countdowns I always prefer lighted. Like the gingerbread Ferris wheel idea

Dan Porto

I would love to see a beautiful Chistmas carousel! That we can put a motor to.

Lindalaveen

Maybe a corn field with a scarecrow, some little crows. Maybe add a little pumpkin field on one side, corn on the other.

Clon Ahmon

Great timeline. No idea for Halloween from me, as it is nothing I would celebrate and is also not a seller here. Christmas definitely. I would like to have one or two bases for the mini tealight christmas village like a snow scene either with 5 places in a row or in a circle with a small tree in it. I had seen one in the FB group, but would like something more "flowing" and more detail. Also the candle fairy house with a separated wax flowing area to make the candle in a different color than the wax. More Christmas fairy houses... The fireplace is a great idea, or a combination of christmas fairy house with santa in the chimney? For the gingerbread train maybe a "Orient Express"/"Polar Express" version of the train... or a "draisine" dandy horse..or maybe a track crossing with lights, gate crossings etc.. and definitely something small christmassy, which will go well with kids to spend their pocket money on (like the tea light house covers mentioned above). Sure you will do something spectacular.. AS ALWAYS :)

Erica

-Anything illuminated really draws in folks! -I know its not one of your intended themes, but any thoughts on creating Thanksgiving models? -Your Christmas lighted baubles are also a big hit. Maybe add more options there like a christmas tree with presents or a christmas sleigh? -Perhaps you could also create large frame prints for the H2x series printers like large candy dishes or bowls?

The End Of All Days

In the northeast of USA winter is an important time for birdfeeders. I would LOVE to see a larger birdfeeder with a Christmas or Whoville theme. It would be huge in winter season!!! PLEASE🙂 I have zero interest in Halloween stuff🫣

Cassandra Bush

I'd love a center piece of some sort for the dining room!

Stephanie Stein

Haunted and xmas houses all the way for me. My daughter is autistic and I've always wanted a xmas village but she breaks all the resin ones so urs are a dream come true for me. I feel like that should be more of a big deal than it really is.

Lisa Harm

I love the scarecrow idea that someone mentioned. Similar to the nutcracker. I’d love a Ferris wheel since your details are so beautiful. More building for the Christmas village-a school, post office. We need some accessories for the village-street lights, benches, etc. Nutcrackers would be great. There are a lot of nutcracker collectors . Many of us have multi color printers now so maybe models can be offered assembled. The haunted houses and gingerbread houses are big hits. Larger projects are great because few other designers offer them. Items that can be customized with names for Christmas are big sellers as gifts.

Robert Foster

A different church with snow. More nutcrackers.

vera usselman

Love the haunted house Graveyard Santas sleigh Horse drawn hearse

Kim Conway

Halloween and Christmas countdowns were BIG sellers for me last year. Hopefully again this year!!

Brenda Waldera

So many things.. I love the tooth fairy design idea. However, honestly, I love halloween so much I wouldn’t mind if EVERY holiday of the year was halloween-ish. I LOVE the tealight fireplaces. They are permanent fixtures on my display shelves. I tried to design a fireplace that resembled a skull but my design skills are as bad as my drawing skills. Something that was a combo tealight fireplace/skull would be awesome. Also more on the line of the haunted houses would be great.

Mark Thorn

Yes. More Hot Wheels Christmas Village buildings. I would love to see a movie theater complete with marquee lights and perhaps a customizable marquee sign where you can put any movie name on it.

K and P

I'll add something else if we think of anything else, but for a add on car/cars to the christmas train? I had the thought of 2 train cars. The first is one like the flatbed but it's one of those that are meant too carry cars and trucks irl but your could carry one of those sleighs you've made already. Like the gingerbread train is transporting a sleigh somewhere and it's tied down too the train car I guess. The second car idea was a coal car for behind the engine cause unless I missed it I don't think you made one(?). Also halloween is a tough one cause you've done a lot there already so I can't think of anything for that. (I did think about a tea light cover like your ghosts but it's a black cat but you said you're not good at sculpting animals so you probably won't do that and I wouldn't want you too feel like you have too try it cause what you try is you're choice.)

Matt Marmet

I'd love to see a Dutch/German Christmas multiple tier carousel that's motorized. The classic ones that I grew up with used the heat from candles to make them spin.

Nicola

I am new to your Patreon and would love to see a Santas a workshop xx

Jamie Robinson

I'm 💯 in agreement with what you want to do. Everything you brought up just sounds like a lot of fun and very awesome! 🤗

Lieselot De Waegeneer

I was talking the other day with my colleague and I said I need to start printing halloween and christmas stuff. But that I also needed to print the stuff from last year because nobody starts designing this early 🤭

Homer Ramone

Time frame sounds ok to me. As does an illuminated Halloween castle 😁

Eva-Marie Nathalie Rogerson

Hello.... for Xmas, how about a hot chocolate tanker wagon, or a peppermint cage wagon for a reindeer or polar bear, For Halloween how about a witches cottage fairy house, some small accessories similar to the fairy bench And fountain. And elf or fairy doors or mouse doors...

Jessica Fisher

My biggest sellers for Christmas were the big snowman countdown light with the sleigh that holds the numbers, the fireplace, and the Santa sleigh shadow box light. I’d love to see more things like this in varying styles. -big Santa countdown light -nutcracker countdown light -reindeer countdown light -angel countdown light -sleigh countdown light -the old school style ceramic tree with those bulb lights on the end as a print with a place for a light strip inside -more details on the fireplace -different style of fireplaces or even modular fireplaces that we can pick and choose the style elements -more styles of the shadow box lights or even making them into shadow box ornaments that can reflect the tree lights (I’m calling them shadow box but the ones that are printed in layers then assembled as one light but have depth) -also anything in the gingerbread house, train and station style would be amazing- maybe a cage car for animals, a box car with a door that slides open and little boxes to go in it, a coal car for behind the engine, so many options for train cars. -would also love to see more varieties of candy for the gingerbread- gumdrops, tri color peppermints, candy canes in 2 and 3 color options, smarties, sprinkles, etc. (don’t know if it’s possible but I’ve used frosted mini wheats on the roof of actual ginger bread houses- something like that for the roof of the houses would be cool) Although I love the Christmas and Halloween village (fairy houses with led candles like the bell, drum, present, etc), outside of the marshmallow hot chocolate and peppermint hot cocoa, they do not sell for me so those aren’t as appealing from a business standpoint. Halloween, my biggest sellers were Halloween themed miniatures that kids view as toys.I know those aren’t your style so just some ideas- Haunted cars, Mummies, Monsters, Ghosts, witches, etc I’d love to see Halloween themed variants of the Christmas items I mentioned above Frankensteins monster and bride as a light Jack-o’-lantern light Ghost light More Halloween shadow box scenes as lights Also a suggestion of just fall themed items or decor Pumpkin that’re not jackolanterns Cornucopias Turkeys

Ronaldo

How about a small toy factory or warehouse integrated into the train station, featuring a conveyor belt that carries packages to a freight car? (It doesn't need to be motorized—just the visual effect matters, perhaps with some lighting and signage.) One side could be left open to show interior details. It would be a great addition, especially alongside the pickup truck. The factory could be designed as a platform module, allowing it to be added to the layout or used to replace an existing module. (Please excuse any writing errors; I used Google Translate, as I am from Brazil and do not speak English.)

BobaFett

A really creepy Hotel would be different

9520Deere

I am mainly a supporter for the Hot Wheels. More Hot Wheels buildings and items would be awesome :)

Gwynnevere

I would really love to see more small/quicker prints... 'friendly, smiling' pumpkins, ghosts, maybe fences that I can make into a little pumpkin patch theme. Keychains, holiday and seasonal themed (bats, pumpkins, Christmas trees, toboggan on a little snow slope, etc.). More holiday themed drink coasters, maybe? Hot air balloons... I'd love it if you could create some small prints with them, I love them lol. Keychains, coasters for drinks, perhaps? I'd love to see some pet-themed small prints, too, maybe like measuring cups for their kibble? Earlier Halloween and Christmas projects is a great idea, Pascal. Thank you for the opportunity for us to suggest some ideas, too. Whatever you create is always amazing. So thankful for all that you create for us!

Jenni G

Haunted houses. Big lots of parts Christmas stuff I can put lights in and around and I love the timeline! Maybe some wall or ceiling decor for Christmas? Ornaments? You make such detailed things that anything is going to add to my Christmas menagerie!

CC

Ferris wheel For the train- little Debbie Christmas trees

cindy robutka

for fall- truck with hay, pumpkins, ghosts, gourds, -bats, - for christmas more mugs, christmas truck accessories like gift pkg, trees, snowmen, reindeer, sleds,- ice skating pond. More christmas baking themed things like cookie sheets with different cookies, an oven with accesories, a big mixer with batter in the bowl and gingerbread men working on the prep- santas elves working at a workbench creating different toys.

Nicole Riggs

Would love to see tea lights from either season. Some cool ornaments would be nice. Definitely love the fairy houses also. Random question, I can not find where to access the remixes that we have access to. Any direction would be greatly appreciated

Randy Gifford

Calvin and Hobbs style snowmen would be cute. You could add on to the miniature tealight village. A Courier and Ives style waterwheel house might be nice. I agree with the comment on the Fireplace. This is a hot item. (pun intended) My wife says why would like a flying fiery ornament. Here is a building idea, I haven't seen many 3d lighthouses.

Stefan Schuhmacher

I think it’s great that you’re starting so early. That way, there’s plenty of time to sell your new designs. Christmas generates the most revenue for me, too. I’m pretty happy with the Halloween items so far. For Christmas, though, an extra wagon for the train would be nice—maybe an open one that can be filled with sweets. Perhaps just the basic undercarriage with several posts sticking up where you could slot in pieces of gingerbread. A Ferris wheel sounds good, too—also in a gingerbread style. You see Ferris wheels at many Christmas markets in Germany. Greetings from Germany.

Vickie

I would love to see some Little Debbie Christmas tree cake gift boxes of different sizes. Or lil Deb tree cake on train car

Mike Boock

A two or three story Gingerbread House would be a nice addition to the Christmas lineup. Everything you have created is always top notch!

Larry Fanning

Love the xmas tree in the above picture . And how about santa claus workshop hot wheels style. As for Halloween, love the different pumpkins. Maybe a pumpkin patch hot wheels style. A 50's style truck filled with halloweengs

Larry Fanning

And dont forget saint Patrick day

Larry Fanning

And is it to late for 4th of July prints? Like eagles or American flags

chris

As a collector of Nutcrackers I would certainly like to see more of those. Also additional gingerbread village buildings - church, Santa's workshop, toy store, lodge.

Chris West

PA1 is politically neutral. It’s best to stick to internationally recognized holidays instead of singling out just one country’s celebration. -Chris

David Long

Please add more cars for the train. I've been printing them at 500% and I'd love to fill my office waiting area with a larger train

Brenda

We have a Haunt as well as a Christmas Drive through light show, so I love both however, I have to say Christmas is my favorite. No matter the age, it's such a magical time of year. Bubble lights were always a favorite.

Zyon Bruce

Added building to the mini tealight christmas houses. Those are my biggest seller.

Charlie Kent

Halloween is great…I do pretty good…. People love the candle sticks and the illuminated ghosts. I’d love to see you redesign the candle sticks. Making a candelabra would be awesome. Less to carry around. And/or redesign the existing ones. The black insert is really cumbersome to do, I typically put a bead of glue on the candlestick to attach the insert but it’s very time consuming to align the stick, insert and candle without getting glue all over the candle part or accidentally bonding it to the stick. A Halloween “Village”…spooky houses, graveyard, cornfield…kinda like the Christmas village but spooky! Timeline for Halloween sounds good. Christmas: Yule log fairy house. Christmas tree fairy house. Small table top light up Christmas tree (easy light setup and complex light setup would be awesome). Angel tree topper. More ornaments. Any type of desktop decoration. And someone mentioned it but elf or fairy doors would be super cute. Christmas village: movie theater, 50’s style diner, post office, donut shop, convenient store/grocery store/gas station, I’m sure I could think of a couple more. Christmas train: freight car or box car. Would love another car to light up but can’t think of any to add that you don’t already have. Christmas timeline could be earlier. I run a Christmas market that starts the weekend before Thanksgiving and goes right up until Christmas Eve…it’s hard to add new prints to my huge Christmas display mid market. Just my personal selfish reason.

Stephanie Stein

More christmas houses, that's why i joined. If u could do more halloween houses for a halloween village that would be amazing, but definitely more xmas.

Karen Crist

what I would love to see would be some matchbox buildings (like fire station) where the doors open to let kids drive the cars in and out of the buildings or garage. Make them something that can be played with not just looked at. Thank you

Mattis Matters and More

Its great you are starting early... more Christmas cookie cutters, and definately having "Elf" doors or other accessories that are quick and easy. Having more quick and easy things early enough for the Nov Craft sales...A winter snowy bird feeder. Other keychains --- Flexi are a huge hit too... Definately a north pole type post office!

Joann King

I have already started printing Christmas items. I am doing a Christmas in July sale. Before you know it, Christmas will be upon us. Sooner the better!!

Becky Glenn

Just for some ideas, perhaps large open ornaments for dioramas, some where the diorama prints in it as well. Nativity sets would be nice. Presents that have open space for dioramas. Room box that we can decorate with Christmas designs or even a room box where you make interchangeable holiday designs so people could keep it out all the time. Like an Easter design, a Christmas one, Halloween for those that decorate Halloween, etc.

Gillian Gardner

some smaller halloween tiems taht can be giving out to kids. I have some VIP local kids that I have always had a small toy for and this would be great.

Mona McCall

I would love to see a North Pole fairy house or one to go with the train. I also would love to see some Christmas beach decor .

Paul G

Assembled multicolor models in addition to your normal parts with layer changes, for example the beach ball from The Summer Drink fairy house. I have an H2C and could easily print the 4 color beach ball with minimal waste. It would save time and look better than one assembled from parts. Printers with multiple toolheads or nozzles are becoming more affordable (Snapmaker U1, Bambu Lab X2D, Flashforge Creator 5) so I think adding assemblies to the mix will be appreciated by more people in the future.

Shiloh A Bausman

I love that you are doing these designs sooner so that we can have them made in time for that holiday season. What about a Halloween themed train? Did I miss that already?

Linda Dyck

I would appreciate more hot wheels' dioramas. I am focused on creating model train sets for both Christmas and Halloween. How likely would you be to create some famous houses in those categories, if at all? Houses like the mansion from Home Alone or the Adams Family mansion? Any new piece to add would be welcome whether it's a famous one or not though! Perhaps a grocery store, farmer's market, school, a theatre, manor, ice rink, etc. The other files I print a lot of is the gingerbread stuff! I specifically focus on "pink Christmas" and all my pink stuff does really well. I would love a gingerbread carousel, a new house and a new nutcracker, maybe a female one. Anyway, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Brian Schoening

More pieces to the hot wheels Christmas dioramas, like a town square. More Christmas train add-in’s

Kevin Kerr

I think he did one similar to that last year or year before the Santa’s work shop

AB3D Printing

I appreciate this post a lot! I actually came over to see what we have for Christmas because our market has a Christmas in July weekend.

Nicole Riggs

what about halloween tree ornaments?

Rebecca Clark

So I am now a year into your designs.. I am printing your older Halloween items and love them! I have learned so much from different projects. I love the timeline you mentioned. I think it works well for Halloween and Christmas! I am ready to print! I am getting into your hotwheels files this year. I love the big houses and I love the lighted houses. I think something that has several pieces would be great.. like 3 different files that compliment each other and can be made into a set once printed.

christine mcclaughry

I love many of the comments here. I love your gingerbread train, not sure what to add to it but I could see more village to go with it like gingerbread candy shoppe, toy shoppe, reindeer training facility etc. I would also love a Whoville village, maybe Rudolph the reindeer or frosty the snowman type village. I would also absolutely love a Harry potter Halloween village like hagrids hut, hogwarts, the weesleys etc

Jen

How about a Santa house. Like a full elf village. Candy store, toy shop, sleigh storage . Nutcracker store.

Kris Lewandowski

I'm new (one day old member) and I'm SO excited to start printing (I'm typing this as I'm printing the mini Halloween lanterns). I LOVEEEEEE the idea of the ferris wheel!!! I'm hoping to print as much of the Hot Wheels Christmas village before Christmas this year.

nathan churchman

I'd say Xmas should be earlier. More fireplace designs for Halloween and Christmas. More glasses tray design (reindeer, unicorn, etc).

PolySauce

FERRIS WHEEL FOR SURE!!! Amazing
